  • Patent number: 8081094
Abstract: A signal transmission system in which a serializer IC connected to first parallel signal wirings and a deserializer IC connected to second parallel signal wirings are connected by a transmission line. Among input terminals of the serializer IC, redundant input terminals which are not connected to the first parallel signal wirings are connected to one wiring obtained by branching off the first parallel signal wirings. When parallel signals are converted into a serial signal, their bit data is arranged into the serial signal which is temporally continuous. Thus, the number of transition times of the serial signal is reduced and radiation noises can be suppressed.

  • Patent number: 7666001
Abstract: To prevent damage to equipment due to the oblique insertion of a fat cable, a capacitor-connection line having a capacitive circuit element is disposed adjacent to a power supply line of a printed circuit board and connected to a ground of the printed circuit board. When a flat cable is obliquely inserted, the capacitor-connection line which comes into erroneous contact with the power supply line works as high impedance in the case of a direct current, and the current does not flow. Damage generated when a flat cable is obliquely inserted into a connector of a printed circuit board is prevented in this manner.

  • Patent number: 7154050
Abstract: A cable arranging structure for exchanging electric signals between a pair of printed circuit boards includes at least a pair of electrically conductive members adapted to arrange the cable between them over the entire length thereof. The electrically conductive members show an electric potential substantially equal to that of the ground. Such a structure requires only the two electrically conductive members to be rigidly secured so that radiant noises generated by the cable can be effectively suppressed by means of the structure without the need of deforming the cable.

  • Patent number: 6995629
Abstract: A center-tap termination circuit which includes two resistors having the same resistance, which are serially connected between forward and return transmission lines, where the forward and return transmission lines constitute a differential signal transmission line. A capacitor is connected between a connector that interconnects the two resistors and a GND of 6 a printed circuit board. The forward and return transmission lines are substantially equidistant from each other along their lengths. The resistors and the capacitor are arranged outside the forward and return transmission lines. The connector is provided intersecting, in three-dimensional space, the forward and return transmission lines, such as being formed by a jumper bridging the two lines, or by being formed on a different layer of a multilayer printed circuit board. Variations in the differential impedance are suppressed, and the transmission return/transmission forward characteristics of differential signals are substantially matched.
