  • Patent number: 8718749
Abstract: A vessel pulse wave measurement system performs vessel pulse wave measurement using an optical probe circuit provided with an optical probe including a light emitting element and a light receiving element, a drive circuit, and a detection circuit. A measurement device directly and synchronously feeds back an electrical signal from the optical probe to the drive circuit as a drive signal to generate a self-oscillation signal from the detection circuit, and measures the self-oscillation signal as a vessel pulse wave signal. A controller controls an operating point of at least one of the detection circuit and the drive circuit such that the self-oscillation signal substantially reaches a maximum level thereof.

  • Patent number: 8679284
Abstract: A skin adhesion apparatus includes an upper mold half and a lower mold half. The upper mold half and the lower mold half clamps a core material and a skin laid on the core material so that the skin is adhered to a surface of the core material. Disposed along a mold surface of the upper mold half is a tubular member made of elastic material. The skin adhesion apparatus also includes a pump for supplying fluid into the tubular member. When adhering the skin to the core material, the upper mold half is pulled down and then stopped at a predetermined distance above the core material. After then, fluid is supplied into the tubular member so that the fluid pressure inflates the tubular member.

  • Publication number: 20130084202
Abstract: In a vane rotary compressor, a discharge valve on a discharge flow channel communicates an operating chamber in a compression element with a discharge hole. The discharge valve is pushed from an opening portion of a discharge valve groove to an outer circumferential surface of a roller by a high-pressure refrigerant when pressure in an operating chamber is lower than the pressure of the high-pressure refrigerant. The discharge valve is pushed back into the discharge valve groove by the refrigerant pressure in the operating chamber when the pressure in the operating chamber is higher than the pressure of the high-pressure refrigerant. The discharge flow channel is closed by the outer circumferential surface of the discharge valve pushed out from the opening portion of the discharge valve groove and the outer circumferential surface of the roller, and opens when the discharge valve is pushed back into the discharge valve groove.
