  • Patent number: 6719534
Abstract: In a flat-type blower unit disposed in a narrow space between a bottom portion of a front seat and a vehicle floor in a vertical direction, a motor-attachment bracket part for attaching a fan motor is integrally formed with a drive circuit cover part for covering a motor drive circuit to construct a motor attachment bracket having heat-generating components which generate heat when being operated. The motor attachment bracket is disposed to protrude radial outside from the fan motor, so that a dimension of the motor attachment bracket in the vertical direction can be reduced.

  • Publication number: 20040067727
Abstract: A vehicle interior structure includes an air vent wall. The air vent wall has a nonpermeable layer, a nonpermeable surface layer and a permeable layer. The permeable layer has a three-dimensional net construction and is disposed between the nonpermeable layer and the nonpermeable surface layer. The permeable layer has two welded nonpermeable portions, which are extended linearly. An air passage is formed between the welded nonpermeable portions. The vehicle interior structure is applied to a vehicle temperature control system including an air conditioning unit and an air blower unit. • Publication number: 20040053571
Abstract: In a deodorizing apparatus for a vehicular passenger compartment, when an ignition key is of f and it is determined that a density of odor components in the passenger compartment is equal to or higher than a predetermined level, it is determined whether an inside temperature inside the passenger compartment measured by a temperature sensor is equal to or higher than a predetermined temperature, which is suitable for separating odor components adhered to the passenger compartment. When it is determined that the inside temperature is equal to or higher than the predetermined temperature, a deodorizing operation is performed by a deodorizing means. When it is determined that the inside temperature is lower than the predetermined temperature and it is not assumed that the inside temperature naturally increases to the predetermined temperature, the passenger compartment is heated by a compartment heating device so that the inside temperature reaches the predetermined temperature.

  • Publication number: 20030136854
Abstract: A vehicle air conditioner controls the air-conditioning automatically based on sensors detecting environmental conditions regarding the air-conditioning of a vehicle and based on an operational portion operable by a passenger. One of the sensors is a sunlight sensor for detecting the amount of sunlight incident into the vehicle. A signal detected by the sunlight sensor is modified to have a time constant by a time constant process. The modification is based on the elevation angle of the sunlight and the inside air temperature of the vehicle. The modified signal is used for automatic control of the air-conditioning.
