  • Publication number: 20030023788
Abstract: When an output of data is switched from a memory to a memory controller, the memory controller takes in write data output from the memory, and outputs the write data taken in to a data bus. Subsequently, the memory controller outputs read data taken thereinto to the data bus, and then outputs write data of its own to the data bus.

  • Publication number: 20020141266
Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for data input/output for memory which minimizes losses of data interruption when switching between reading and writing. A method for data input/output comprises the steps of: holding predetermined data from memory array 12 upon m-th (m is integer) read command; outputting the predetermined data to common I/O 30 and holding new data from memory array 12 upon (m+1)-th read command; holding predetermined data from common I/O 30 upon n-th (n is integer) write command; and storing the predetermined data in memory array 12 and holding new data from common I/O 30 upon (n+1)-th write command.

  • Patent number: 5553252
Abstract: A draw control chip and video chips V1-V4 are provided. They are connected by a 64-bit data bus, a 4-bit program signal line, and a 1-bit ready signal line. The video chip V1 comprises a decoder DEC1, a program buffer address register PBAR, a sequencer SEQ, a program buffer PB, a decoder DEC2, an address control unit, a selector SEL, and various registers. The video chip V1 and the video buffer APA1 are connected by the data bus. This system is used to transfer data from the control chip to the various video chips in a single operation. The 64-bit data bus can be divided into smaller sections allowing smaller segments of data to be simultaneously processed by the video chips. Additionally, the video chips are capable of providing data directly to one another without accessing the control chip.

  • Patent number: 5267385
Abstract: An automatic assembling apparatus having two identical assembling jigs. One assembling jig is attached to a robot arm and the assembling jig is then moved by operation of a robot from a setting site to an assembling site for assembling a plurality of parts set thereon at the setting site to an article place at the assembling site. Simultaneously, the plurality of parts are set on the other assembling jig. The two units are alternately attached to the robot arm at the setting site. Two receiving tables, each of which is for mounting thereon each of the assembling jigs, are provided alongside of each other at the setting site. A transfer device is provided to transfer each assembling jig from one receiving table to the other receiving table. The assembling jig attached to the robot arm is detached from the robot arm and placed on the one receiving table and the other assembling jig mounted on the other receiving table is then attached to the robot arm.

  • Patent number: 5123148
Abstract: A hinge pin couples a first hinge receiver mounted on a vehicle body and a second hinge receiver mounted on a door to be installed on the vehicle body. The hinge pin is removed from the vehicle body and the door to separate the vehicle body and the door from each other after the vehicle body and the door have been coated, and the removed pin engages in a hinge pin engaging member. The hinge pin is fed to a position where the vehicle body and the door are to be assembled together, and the hinge pin is removed from the hinge pin engaging member. Then, the removed hinge pin is pressed into the first and second hinge receivers which are aligned with each other, thereby coupling the vehicle body and the door to each other.

  • Patent number: 5033163
Abstract: A hinge pin is temporarily held on a first hinge member on the automobile body by means of a hinge pin support mechanism. A door to be attached to the automobile body is held in position, and a second hinge member on the door is brought into engagement with the first hinge member. The hinge pin is pressed into the second hinge member through the first hinge member to couple the door to the automobile door. The hinge pin support mechanism includes a hinge pin retaining member including a ring separably joined to a plurality of legs. When the hinge pin is pressed into the hinge members, the ring is sheared off from the legs and rides in a peripheral groove defined in the hinge pin. The ring then engages one of the hinge members to prevent the hinge pin from being removed from the hinge members. The door can automatically be attached to the automobile body by a door attaching mechanism and detached from the automobile body by a door detaching mechanism.

  • Patent number: 4644497
Abstract: A keyboard interface for a data processing system in which a keyboard and a data processor unit are connected through a single clock line for transmitting a clock signal from the keyboard and a single data line for transmitting a serial bit frame having a serial scan code identifying a depressed key in synchronism with the clock signal. The interface uses an error detection and retransmission procedure to correct errors due to noise pulses which are induced on the clock line as by electrostatic discharge and give rise to extra data sampling. The data processing system returns a status signal acknowledging the receipt of a frame to the keyboard via the data line immediately after the number of sampled bits received reaches the predetermined number of bits of a frame. The keyboard checks whether the status signal has been returned after the completion of transmission of a frame and, if not, the same serial scan code is retransmitted.
