  • Publication number: 20060202341
Abstract: A defective opening caused by the shortage of light amounts at performing exposure for forming a contact or a via is controlled. The cross-sectional shape of the contact plug 17 includes a plurality of first regions 302 arranged at a predetermined distance in the longitudinal direction, and a second region 304 which has a width narrower than that of the first region, and joins the first regions 302 which are adjacent to each other. Each of the first regions 302 has a circular-arc shape (at least a part of the outside edge of the region has the circular-arc shape). A ratio b/a=(d?r)/r between the longitudinal length of the second region 304 and that of the first region 302 is set equal to or less than 0.5.

  • Publication number: 20050258355
Abstract: The invention intends to determine a presence ratio between mixed compounds which are difficult to separate from each other by a separation unit and cannot be discriminated by MS. In a mass spectrometer with an MSn analysis function for ionizing a sample eluted from a separation unit for separating the sample into individual components, fragmenting an ion of a desired mass number, and performing a mass analysis of fragment ions, the mass spectrometer includes a database storing correlation information between an isomer presence ratio and a particular ion intensity ratio in a mass spectrum per isomer. An isomer ratio can be clarified even for a mixed sample of isomers, such as enantiomers, which are difficult to separate from each other by the separation unit and cannot be discriminated by MS.

  • Publication number: 20050246355
Abstract: A communication system achieving the cooperation of communications between a SIP and a Web system through a cooperative manager. A call attempt manager of the SIP system is booted, responsive to a request from another call attempt manager, and a call attempt is registered in a SIP database. A result of the registration is sent to the Web system for display on a Web client. A task is entered and registered in a Web database. A connection or monitoring service is provided between SIP clients interconnected to the SIP system.

  • Publication number: 20050159902
Abstract: In a database MSn spectrum search, search of a known compound whose principal chain is identical to that of an unknown compound is enabled, thereby allowing analysis of an entire structure even if the entire structures of the known compound in database and that of the measured unknown compound are not identical. The MSn spectrum obtained in the MSn measurement of the unknown compound is compared with all the MSm spectra (m?1) in the database regardless of MSn generation. In the MSn measurement of a series of related compounds including various types of different side chains of the same principal chain, such as in the case of biopolymers, it becomes possible to determine the structure of the principal chain using a database search even if the entire structure is not clear. And the estimation of the entire structure is made possible on the basis of the principal chain structure.

  • Publication number: 20050098487
Abstract: A gradient pump apparatus which is capable of continuously and precisely feeding, to a chromatograph, eluents at intervals of certain time and at a constant flow rate in units of nano-liter per minute while the composition of two or more eluent components is changed. The gradient pump apparatus includes a 10-port valve for switching an eluent mixing pipe, in which a feed pressure of eluents changes with time, to be connected to a first loop which is supplied with another eluent from an isocratic pump that should function to hold an eluent feed pressure constant, and which is connected to an analytic section, or to a second loop through which the eluents are drained. A controller computes a difference between a value of the pressure in the eluent mixing pipe and a value of the eluent feed pressure applied from the isocratic pump when the eluent mixing pipe is connected to the second loop.

  • Publication number: 20050091362
Abstract: The service providing system uses cooperation managers both in SIP and Web systems to process information of the SIP and HTTP protocols with SOAP/CORBA and the like as a communication protocol that can be handled in common. The service providing system thereby facilitates cooperation between the SIP and Web systems through the SPAP/CORBA network, thereby accomplishing information transfer on a real time basis.

  • Publication number: 20050078705
Abstract: In a service providing system is provided, applications of systems in different environments are allowed to work together for efficient operation. The system transfers information between a SIP system and a web system through respective cooperation managers according to a selected communication protocol, SOAP or CORBA, related to both systems. The system converts information, supplied from an information source, to information processable by the communication protocol of each system and, as a result, treats the SIP system and the web system as a cooperative system. Information managers are provided not only to manage information in one of the systems but also to access the other system to start a function of the other system. Thus, information that cannot conventionally be obtained is processed and provided to a client.

  • Patent number: 6813703
Abstract: An emulation system for data-driven processors aims at shortening the emulation time by employing parallel processing techniques without increasing overhead. The emulation system emulates virtual data-driven processors by using real data-driven processors. The emulation is performed by dividing the functionality of the processor into a data path and a timing path. In the data path emulation, each virtual packet to be processed in the virtual processor is expressed as a PACKET message, and the processing operation of the virtual packet is evaluated for each functional block. In the timing path emulation, a SEND signal and an ACK signal, to be controlled by a self-timed transfer control mechanism and a gate logic, are expressed as a SEND message and an ACK message, respectively, and stage-to-stage transfer operations of the SEND signal and the ACK signal are evaluated.
