Abstract: A transmission equipment decides in which, when a frame is received from each of networks, an output physical port corresponding to an output logical port decided by a path deciding section is decided by an output physical port deciding section, a transmitting frame is outputted to the output physical port, and when following received frames are successively transmitted, an output physical port number to which a transmitting frame is outputted by a port number increment section is incremented each time a frame is transmitted, and a destination to which a transmitting frame is outputted is switched among output physical ports.

Abstract: A service request responding device A and a service request non-responding device B, which are network equipment, are controlled by a service allocating device C. When a user transmits a service request, the service request responding device A requests the network information collecting section (11) of the a service allocating device C to check whether the requested service should be provided. However, the service request non-responding device B passes the service request through the device without performing any processing. On receipt of a service provision availability request, the network information collecting section (11) notifies both a setting device determining section (10) and a service competition section (14) of the request.

Abstract: A service assignment apparatus sets an appropriate service in a service-request-incompatible apparatus as a network element so as to guarantee the service in the entire network. A service-request-compatible apparatus processes a received network-service request, and provides a service. A network-information collection unit in the service assignment apparatus collects information on a service-provision state of the service-request-compatible apparatus. A target-apparatus determination unit determines a service-request-incompatible apparatus based on the collected information on the service-provision state. A service mapping unit determines a service which the service-request-incompatible apparatus can provide, based on the information on the service-provision state and information on the determined service-request-incompatible apparatus. A service setting unit sets the service in the service-request-incompatible apparatus.

Abstract: A frame relay system relays a received frame having a destination address and a frame TTL indicating a term of life of the received frame. The frame relay system includes a routing table having entries, each of the entries indicating a relationship between a destination address and a control information item, a retrieving unit for retrieving the routing table based on a destination address included in the received frame, and a frame control unit for carrying out a decrement calculation of the frame TTL of the received frame when a period of time has elapsed from a time at which an entry hit in retrieving of the routing table by the retrieving unit was formed or updated is not equal to or greater than a predetermined value and for not carrying out the decrement calculation of the frame TTL when the period of time period is equal or greater than the predetermined value.

Abstract: The present invention is aiming at a service setting system, a service setting method and a relay apparatus which does not require implementation of a communication protocol to inquire whether a service between a relay apparatus and service control apparatus should be provided, and which cut down a delay until service provision.
