  • Publication number: 20030146849
Abstract: Two A.C. output signals amplitude-modulated in accordance with two function values (sine and cosine) differing from each other in correspondence to a position-to-be-detected are received from a position sensor such as a resolver. By performing an addition or subtraction between a signal derived by shifting the electric phase of one of the received A.C. output signals by a predetermined angle, and the other received signal, two electric A.C. signals (sin(&ohgr;t±d+&thgr;), sin((&ohgr;t±d−&thgr;)) are electrically synthesized which have electric phase angles (&thgr;) corresponding to the position-to-be-detected and are phase-shifted in opposite directions. “±d” here represents phase variation error caused by factors, other than the position-to-be-detected, such as temperature change.

  • Publication number: 20010027440
Abstract: The present invention provides an electronic credit service for shortening the process of checking a buyer's credit standing on the seller side and ensuring payment collection by the seller in electronic commerce. A method of electronic credit service according to the present invention stores each buyer's credit inspection result in a credit organization server, and upon receiving order information from a buyer client, an electronic commerce server transmits a request for a credit guarantee to the credit organization server. The credit organization server then performs a credit guarantee process on the order information from the buyer. The electronic commerce server transmits to the seller client the order information with a credit guarantee result attached thereto, and upon receiving an order reception result from the seller client, the electronic commerce server transmits the order reception result to the credit organization server and the buyer client.

  • Patent number: 6034624
Abstract: A winding section includes a primary winding to be excited by a single-phase A.C. signal, and a plurality of secondary windings provided at different locations with respect to a predetermined direction of linear movement. A variable magnetic coupling section includes a plurality of magnetic response members provided in repetition at a predetermined pitch along the direction of linear movement, and allows inductive A.C. output signals, amplitude-modulated in accordance with a varying linear position of an object of detection, to be produced in the individual secondary windings with amplitude function characteristics differing depending on positional differences between the secondary windings. Each of the inductive A.C. output signals produced in the secondary windings varies in its amplitude function in periodic cycles each corresponding to the pitch length of the magnetic response members.

  • Patent number: 5969272
Abstract: There is disclosed a sample sucking pipe the manufacture of which is easy and which is also advantageous costwise, whose strength is relatively great and whose usage life is long and with which it is possible to prevent the occurrence of trouble such as dust clogging and sample leakage. There is also disclosed a method for manufacturing the same. A sample sucking pipe P is for sucking samples of blood contained in a sample vessel T through a rubber cap C, and is made up of a sucking pipe 10, a venting pipe 20 and a holding piece 30. The pipes 10, 20 are made of the same stainless steel. The holding piece 30 is made of polyacetal resin. The pipes 10, 20 are disposed parallel with each other with their tip ends aligned and then integrated by welding carried out along the tip end portion of the contacting part of their walls.

  • Patent number: 5903205
Abstract: A group of secondary windings are distributively provided on a stator over a predetermined range, and the respective inductance of the secondary windings in the group is set in such a manner to present predetermined inductance distribution. A rotor has an eccentric shape so as to cause variations in magnetic coupling at individual poles of the stator in response to its current rotational position. By combined use of the magnetic coupling variations between primary and secondary windings on the stator and the predetermined inductance distribution of the secondary windings, high-accuracy detection of a rotational position is achieved with a simple structure. A plurality of primary windings may be set so as to present predetermined inductance distribution.

  • Patent number: 5349293
Abstract: Primary coils generate flux upon being excited by a predetermined ac signal. A stator is made in a plate-like configuration and has plural primary coils independently in the circumferential direction so that flux is generated by the primary coils in the direction of the axis of rotation. A rotor is provided displaceably relative to the primary coils to change reluctance with respect to the flux generated by the primary coils. Accordingly, as the rotor is rotated, reluctance change is produced due to the relative positional relation between the primary coils provided in the stator and the rotor. This reluctance change causes to change self-inductance of the primary coils and affects the exciting ac signal flowing through the primary coils and, therefore, by outputting the self-induced ac signal in the primary coils, the relative positional relation between the rotor and the primary coils, i.e., the rotational position of the rotor, can be detected.

  • Patent number: 4642686
Abstract: A system for measuring an amount of a rubber bank between rolls having a camera arranged in front of rubber banked between a pair of rolls for obtaining an image of the banked rubber. A screen acts as a background for the banked rubber when said screen is photographed by said camera along a straight line connecting the camera with the banked rubber. A light source irradiating light onto the screen illuminates by back lighting. A processor calculates the amount of the banked rubber from an image produced by the camera.
