The wireless communication method includes that the terminal device receives first configuration information sent by the network device, the first configuration information being used to indicate the terminal device in an idle state and/or de-activated state to carry out cell measurement and including first measurement information for E-UTRAN and/or second measurement information for NR, and the terminal device carries out cell measurement according to the first configuration information.
