  • Patent number: 10853188
Abstract: A node for use in a data management system includes a persistent storage and a data protection agent. The persistent storage stores data. The data protection agent makes an identification of a data protection strategy change event for the data; in response to the identification: makes a determination that the data protection strategy change event is a scale down event; in response to the determination: identifies a number of replicas of the data in other nodes that are in a predetermined state; makes a second determination that the number of the replicas of the data in the other nodes that are in the predetermined state exceeds a threshold specified by a data protection policy associated with the data protection strategy change event; and reduces the number of replicas that exceed the threshold to be less than the threshold in response to the second determination.

  • Patent number: 10849034
Abstract: Techniques for signal map for wireless connectivity are described, and may be implemented via a mobile device to utilize a signal map to manage wireless connectivity of the mobile device. For instance, based on a wireless scan event of a mobile device, the signal map can be queried with a location/orientation of the mobile device to determine if a wireless signal source that meets a signal threshold (e.g., a quality threshold) is available. If such wireless signal source is available, a fast acquisition process for connecting to the signal source can be performed. Otherwise, a general scan for an available wireless signal source can be performed. Further, based on a handover event that identifies a target signal source, the signal map can be queried to determine if the target signal source meets a signal threshold. The handover event can then be managed based on whether the target signal source meets the signal threshold.

  • Publication number: 20200292547
Abstract: Match-paired monoclonal antibodies against major royal jelly protein 4 (MRJP4) are secreted by hybridoma cell lines having microbial deposit numbers of CGMCC No. 17294 and CGMCC No. 17295, which are used in an ELISA kit and a colloidal gold immunoassay strip for detecting the MRJP4. The positive and MRJP4-sepcific cell lines are obtained by cell fusion using an antigen of MRJP4 recombinant protein and a cross-reaction with other major royal jelly proteins. The MRJP4 recombinant protein is used as an antigen to obtain several positive and cell lines by cell fusion and twoMRJP4-specific fusion cell lines are obtained by a cross-reaction with other major royal jelly proteins. Primary screening of a matched antibody pair is performed according to antibody pairing for recognizing different epitopes.

  • Patent number: 10742360
Abstract: Techniques and examples of layer mapping, channel state information (CSI) feedback and hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback in mobile communications are described. A user equipment (UE) receives from a base station one or more reference signals, which may be non-zero power (NZP) or zero power (ZP), on one or more time-frequency resources indicated by a network via a communication link between the UE and the base station. The UE estimates, based on the receiving, a subspace spanned by a channel response of an interfering signal. The UE determines a precoding matrix indicator (PMI) based on the estimated subspace. The UE transmits to the base station a channel state information (CSI) feedback comprising at least the PMI. The PMI may include at least a first precoder and a second precoder.

  • Patent number: 10736040
Abstract: A communication device mitigates power consumption and communication connectivity lapses in a marginal coverage area with unsatisfactory transmit communication quality and satisfactory receive communication quality of respective uplink and downlinks with a radio access network (RAN) using a first radio access technology (RAT). Based on information of past communication success and failure, a controller of the communication device determines whether communication services can be successfully obtained from the RAN using a second RAT. In response to determining that communication services cannot be successfully obtained using the second RAT, the communication device monitors the downlink with the first RAN using the first RAT to receive any mobile terminated calls. In addition, the communication delays, for a preset period of time, any attempt to establish uplink communication using one of the first and second RATs that are expected to be unsuccessful in the marginal coverage area.

Abstract: Various solutions with respect to codebook-based uplink transmission in wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) stores information with respect to a plurality of permutations with respect to a mapping between a plurality of sounding reference signal (SRS) resources and a plurality of antenna ports at the UE. The UE receives signaling from a network node of a wireless network. The signaling contains an index identifying a permutation among the plurality of permutations. The UE performs an uplink transmission of data to the network node using one or more SRS resources of the plurality of SRS resources and one or more antenna ports of the plurality of antenna ports according to the identified permutation.

  • Patent number: 10678861
Abstract: An online system selects a number of content items and presents the selected content items through a feed to a target user, where each selected candidate content item is likely to cause the target user to post his/her new content in response to the selected candidate content item within a short period of time. The online system selects the candidate content items for presentation through the feed using a trained post session prediction model. A ranking score for a candidate content item is determined based on a probability value indicating likelihood that the candidate content item causes the target user to post new content. The probability value is determined by applying a trained model to user features of the target user and content features of the candidate content item. The online system ranks the candidate content items based on their ranking scores and present the feed to the target user.
