In each row other than an initial row, the adder circuitry also receives as a second adder input value at least a portion of a result value produced in a preceding row. In a multiplication mode, the multiplier array implements the multiply-accumulate operation, and in a linear interpolation mode, the multiplier array implements a linear interpolation operation between a lower limit value and an upper limit value based on a weighting value.

Abstract: A method and system for controlling fuel flow to an aircraft engine during start are provided. Following light-off, an actual value of at least one engine operating parameter is obtained. Based on a difference between the actual value and a target value, a first command is generated to cause fuel flow to be provided to the engine's combustor according to a computed fuel flow rate defined by a fuel schedule of the engine. When the computed fuel flow rate is within a fuel flow rate limit, the first command is output. Otherwise, a limiting factor is applied to the computed fuel flow rate to limit a reduction in fuel flow to the combustor and a limited fuel flow rate is obtained, and a second command is output to cause fuel flow to be provided to the combustor according to the limited fuel flow rate.

Abstract: A method described herein includes receiving a digital image, wherein the digital image includes a first element that corresponds to a first domain and a second element that corresponds to a second domain. The method also includes automatically assigning a label to the first element in the digital image based at least in part upon a computed probability that the label corresponds to the first element, wherein the probability is computed through utilization of a first model that is configured to infer labels for elements in the first domain and a second model that is configured to infer labels for elements in the second domain. The first model receives data that identifies learned relationships between elements in the first domain and elements in the second domain, and the probability is computed by the first model based at least in part upon the learned relationships.

The heating element can include a temperature sensor disposed in a central region of the heating element.
