  • Patent number: 10885313
Abstract: Examples of the present disclosure relate to methods for controlling a display device. In one such example, data representing a result of an eyewear detection operation is obtained. Dependent on the obtained data, a control signal is outputted to adjust a display parameter of the display device. Performing the eyewear detection operation comprises receiving image data representing a user of the display device, and processing the image data using object recognition to determine whether or not the user is wearing eyewear of a predetermined type.

  • Patent number: 10825008
Abstract: Methods and apparatus identify downhole equipment and correlate input data with the equipment to improve planning and/or inventory operations. For some embodiments, oilfield equipment or tubular goods such as drill pipe include a shaped recess along an outer circumference for receiving a tag cartridge by shrink fitting. Once tagged, detector system configurations at pipe yards may facilitate logging the presence and location of each drill pipe and correlating specific data, such as inspection data, to each drill pipe. Further, this correlation populates a database utilized to achieve other business functions such as forecasting number of additional drill pipe needed to purchase, invoicing customers according to actual tracked wear/use of the drill pipe being returned, and providing well or job specific drill string population using known history pipe joints.

  • Patent number: 10811533
Abstract: A semiconductor device includes a medium voltage MOSFET having a vertical drain drift region between RESURF trenches containing field plates which are electrically coupled to a source electrode of the MOSFET. A split gate with a central opening is disposed above the drain drift region between the RESURF trenches. A two-level LDD region is disposed below the central opening in the split gate. A contact metal stack makes contact with a source region at lateral sides of the triple contact structure, and with a body contact region and the field plates in the RESURF trenches at a bottom surface of the triple contact structure. A perimeter RESURF trench surrounds the MOSFET. A field plate in the perimeter RESURF trench is electrically coupled to the source electrode of the MOSFET. An integrated snubber may be formed in trenches formed concurrently with the RESURF trenches.

  • Publication number: 20200257531
Abstract: A processing pipeline may have first and second execution circuits having different performance or energy consumption characteristics. Instruction supply circuitry may support different instruction supply schemes with different energy consumption or performance characteristics. This can allow a further trade-off between performance and energy efficiency. Architectural state storage can be shared between the execute units to reduce the overhead of switching between the units. In a parallel execution mode, groups of instructions can be executed on both execute units in parallel.
