Abstract: Determining when and/or how to execute a program or script published to a blockchain network may rely on data that is external to the blockchain. A prover (e.g., a node of the blockchain network) may perform one or more computations on behalf of a client, such as the execution of the program. To execute the program properly, the prover may rely on external data, which the prover may obtain from a data provider that has a trust relationship with the client (e.g., the client accepts as valid data provided by a trusted data provider). Systems and methods described herein may be utilized by a prover to provide cryptographically verifiable assurances of the authenticity of input data purportedly obtained from a data provider, the input data utilized in the execution of a program or script published to a blockchain network. An example of a blockchain network is a Bitcoinbased network.

  • Publication number: 20250139994
Abstract: A method of monitoring a state of a driver of a vehicle uses a camera in the interior of the vehicle. A viewing behavior of a driver of the vehicle is determined during an active driving situation using the camera. The method includes determining a target viewing sequence of the active driving situation, and determining an actual viewing sequence during the active driving situation depending on the viewing behavior of the driver of the vehicle. A change in the actual viewing sequence from the target viewing sequence during the active driving situation is determined. The method also includes determining the state of the driver as tired if the change in the actual viewing sequence from the target viewing sequence indicates that a time interval between at least two views of the actual viewing sequence exceeds a predetermined threshold value.

  • Publication number: 20250137312
Abstract: A method determines a door opening request based on a pressure actuation against a door of a household appliance. A plunger is driven by an electric machine via a transmission. An electrical voltage is applied to a stator winding which is electrically coupled to a control unit at least during temporary support of the plunger head against a door inner face. When the door is in the closed state a force is applied to the plunger and by a sensor facility a stator winding-side induced voltage is detected, which has a voltage pulse depending on the pressure actuation. An amplitude of the voltage pulse is compared in a first comparison with a voltage comparison value and a temporal extent of the voltage pulse is compared in a second comparison with a time comparison value. The door opening request is determined depending on comparison results of the first and second comparison.

  • Publication number: 20250137718
Abstract: A chest freezer plunge power safety system is configured to prevent any chance of electrical shock by disconnecting power to the chest freezer when the freezer door is opened. Chest freezers are often filled with water that is chilled by the freezer and used for cold plunge therapy. A person will open the freezer door and submerge their body or portion of their body in the cold water. One or more sensors are configured to detect when the freezer door is opened. The sensor or sensors are coupled with a contactor that disconnects power from a power source to the chest freezer. The sensor element may be attached to the freezer door and configured to be detected by the sensor when the freezer door is in a closed position. The sensor may be coupled with a controller that controls the function of the contactor to open or close the circuit.
