  • Patent number: 12292741
Abstract: Herein, a “perception statistical performance model” (PSPM) for modelling a perception slice of a runtime stack for an autonomous vehicle or other robotic system may be used e.g. for safety/performance testing. A PSPM is configured to receive a computed perception ground truth, and determine from the perception ground truth, based on a set of learned parameters, a probabilistic perception uncertainty distribution, the parameters learned from a set of actual perception outputs generated using the perception slice to be modelled. A simulated scenario is run based on a time series of such perception outputs (with modelled perception errors), but can also be re-run based on perception ground truths directly (without perception errors). This can, for example, be way to ascertain whether perception error was the cause of some unexpected decision within the planner, by determining whether such a decision is also taken in the simulated scenario when perception error is “switched off”.

  • Patent number: 12292041
Abstract: A fluid transportation system and method use a negative pressure driving mode to absorb fluids from a fluid storage assembly and a positive pressure driving mode to load the absorbed fluids into the fluid-using system. At least two working modules are used to transport fluids to the fluid-using system, the process of transporting fluid in each working module being divided into the processes of absorbing fluids into a fluid transfer assembly, and loading fluids into a fluid transfer assembly. The process of absorbing fluids in each working module and the processes of absorbing fluids and/or loading fluids in any other working module overlap at least partially along the time axis. With the present disclosure, the accuracy and speed of fluids transportation are improved, a device utilizing the system and method is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 12292774
Abstract: Streaming content using a data streaming device having limited power is described. A data streaming device receives streaming content from a network and provides the streaming content for display on a content display device. Data streaming device includes power supplies that receive power from the content display device. The power supplies use the power to operate components of data streaming device that process the streaming content. A measuring module measures the power provided to the data streaming device. When the power is insufficient, a controller generates an indication that there is insufficient power to operate the components of the data streaming device. The controller may also modify functionality of the components to operate using available power or disable a component of the data streaming device.
