    Abstract: A power supply control circuit includes a main controller, a current detection unit electronically connected to the main controller, and a mode switch unit electronically connected to the main controller. The current detection unit cooperates with the main controller in detecting a value of an output current of a power supply circuit. The main controller determines whether the power supply circuit is operating in a discontinuous conduction mode or in a continuous conduction mode according to the value of the output current of the power supply circuit, and controls the mode switch unit to switch the power supply circuit to the continuous conduction mode when the power supply circuit operates in the discontinuous conduction mode.

    Abstract: A test device includes a transformer, a loop analyzer, and a protection circuit. The protection circuit includes a control unit, a signal acquisition and amplification unit, and an electronic switch. When the loop analyzer outputs a signal, the signal acquisition and amplification unit acquires the signal output from the loop analyzer, amplifies the acquired signal, and outputs the amplified signal to the control unit. The control unit transforms the received signal from analog form to digital form, and compares the digital signal with a reference value. If the digital signal is greater than the reference value, the control unit outputs a control signal to the electronic switch, to turn off the electronic switch. The signal output from the loop analyzer cannot be transmitted to a buck circuit.

    Abstract: An embodiment of the invention relates to a power converter formed with an error amplifier and a related method. In an embodiment, a first switch is coupled in series with an error amplifier compensation capacitor. Upon detection of a current level greater than a threshold level, the compensation capacitor is decoupled from the error amplifier by opening the first switch. In an embodiment, a second switch is coupled in parallel with the compensation capacitor, and the current-sensing circuit enables conductivity of the second switch to discharge the compensation capacitor upon detection of the current level greater than the threshold level. The second switch is opened upon detection of the current level less than the threshold level. In an embodiment, the current-sensing circuit controls an output current of the power converter at a current-limit level upon detection of the internal current level greater than the threshold level.

The current sampling circuit samples an output current of one output of the power supply selected by the controller. The controller turns on and off switches of the capacitive load switching circuit for matching an output current of the power supply with a reference current until the output current equals to the reference current.     Abstract: An easy-pedaling and labor-saving bicycle includes a frame, a front and a rear wheel set, a transmission set driving the rear wheel set, and a pedal device driving the transmission set. The pedal device includes a crank disposed on the frame, a link-up member driving a rear link-up plate to rotate, a link-up strip disposed between one end of the crank and the link-up member, a pedal unit disposed at the other end of the crank, and a straining member disposed between the frame and the link-up strip. Pedaling the pedal unit makes the crank set as an extension of a moment arm for increasing a force moment imparting to the transmission set. The crank swings downward easily to allow the other end thereof to pull the link-up strip, whereby the link-up member, the transmission set, and the rear wheel are driven to pedal easily, save labor and drive quickly.

    Abstract: Systems for making, identifying, and selecting recombinant cells that express a ligand for the insulin receptor (IR) or insulin growth factor I (IGF-1) receptor are described. In general, libraries of recombinant cells are constructed that are capable of displaying a plurality of ligand molecules on the cell surface. Recombinant cells that display a ligand in a form accessible for binding to the IR and/or IGF-1 receptor can be detected and the recombinant cells displaying said ligands can be selected and isolated using cell sorting technologies. In particular aspects, the system is useful for constructing and screening libraries of recombinant cells that express and displaying insulin analogue precursors molecules to identify and select recombinant cells in the library that bind the IR and/or IGF-1 receptor with a desired affinity and/or avidity.

    Abstract: A power circuit which is applicable to a data storage device. A boost circuit receives a first voltage and converts it to a second voltage. A charging and discharging circuit receives the second voltage and charges a charging capacitor. As long as a voltage detecting circuit detects that the second voltage exists, it outputs a first selection signal. When the voltage detecting circuit detects that the second voltage does not exist, it outputs a second selection signal and also outputs a signal to the charging and discharging circuit, to release a stored voltage. A voltage selection circuit will output the second voltage according to the first selection signal, or will output the stored voltage from the charging capacitor according to the second selection signal. Buck circuits convert the second voltage or the stored voltage to the different voltages required by a control chip of the data storage device.

If the first and second terminals are disconnected from each other when the computer motherboard works, the power supply stops working. The control chip stores a predetermined voltage threshold, and detects voltage between the two terminals of the fixed resistor, and compares the measured voltage with the predetermined voltage threshold. The switch element disconnects the first and second signal terminals when the measured voltage is greater than the predetermined voltage threshold.
