In certain embodiments, a coupled line structure includes one transmission line that is segmented in a metal layer and another that is substantially continuous in the metal layer, thereby allowing tighter spacing and higher coupling between the transmission lines relative to what is achievable if both transmission lines were continuous. The high coupling in turn aids in achieving wide bandwidth.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus to estimate market opportunities for an object class are disclosed. An example method includes obtaining first measurements of a set of characteristics for a first area, the set of characteristics being associated with an item class; determining a first relationship between a first probability of a population in the first area to purchase the item class and the first measurements of the set of characteristics; obtaining second measurements of the set of characteristics for a second area; and estimating a second probability of a population of the second area purchasing the item class based on applying the first relationship to the second measurements.

Abstract: A high power module is provided, which includes a substrate, plural first power chips, plural second power chips, a positive electrode plate and a negative electrode plat. The substrate includes a first metal area, a second metal area, a third metal area disposed between the first metal area and the second metal area. The first power chips are disposed on the third metal area and connected to the first metal area via plural first connection elements. The second power chips are disposed on the second metal area and connected to the third metal area via plural second connection elements. The positive electrode plate is C-shaped and connected to the first metal area. The negative electrode plate is C-shaped and connected to the second metal area; the direction of the opening of the negative electrode plate is contrary to that of the opening of the positive electrode plate.

Abstract: A semiconductor device includes an insulating thermal substrate, a metal wiring layer and a heat-dissipation component. The metal wiring layer includes a plurality of engaging structures. The plurality of engaging structures is disposed between the insulating thermal substrate and the heat-dissipation component, and the heat-dissipation component applies solder structures to connect the metal wiring layer by having the solder structures to wrap partly the plurality of engaging structures. In addition, a method for fabricating the same semiconductor device is also provided.

Abstract: Techniques are provided for using machine learning techniques to identify predictive features and predictive values for each feature. In one technique, a model is trained based on training data that comprises training instances, each of which corresponds to multiple usage-based features of an online service by a user. For each usage-based feature in a subset of the usage-based features, the model is used to generate a dependency graph, a histogram is generated, and an optimized value is selected based on the dependency graph and the histogram. A user of the online service is identified, along with a usage value that indicates a level of usage, by the user, of a usage-based feature. A comparison between the usage value and an optimized value of the usage-based feature is performed. Based on the comparison, it is determined whether to present data about that usage-based feature to the user.

The wideband balun includes a first transmission line connected between a first port and a third port, and a second transmission line connected between a second port and a fourth port, and a third transmission line connected between the third port and a reference voltage, such as ground. To enhance phase and/or amplitude balance of the wideband balun, the wideband balun further includes a compensation structure operable to provide at least one of capacitive compensation or inductive compensation to balance the wideband balun. For example, in certain implementations, the compensation structure includes at least one of (i) a capacitor connected between the first port and the second port or (ii) a fourth transmission line connected between the first transmission line and the third port.

The power combiner/divider circuit can be implemented as a port coupled to multiple ports with low pass networks or high pass networks arranged at the ends of paths to the multiple ports. In embodiments using low pass base structures or low pass networks coupled to the base structures, inductors in such low pass sections can be positively coupled on a pair-wise basis.
