At least two sensor electrode arrangements are arranged at spatially offset positions on the motor vehicle. The sensor electrodes are embodied as elongate electrode arrangements and are arranged with the same spatial orientation. One of the sensor electrodes is longer than the other. The relatively long sensor electrode extends beyond the relatively short sensor electrode on both sides in the longitudinal direction.
