  • Patent number: 11093939
Abstract: Systems and techniques are provided for a resource transfer system. An instruction to transfer a first quantity of a resource from a first resource pool to a second resource pool may be received. A hold may be placed on a second quantity of the resource in the first resource pool. The held second quantity of the first resource may not be transferred from the first resource pool until the hold is released. Responsive to receiving a message that fulfills a condition on the hold and an instruction to execute the transfer, the hold may be released. A register that is in the first resource pool and is associated with the resource may decremented by the first quantity, and a register that is in the second resource pool and is associated with the resource may be incremented by the first quantity.

  • Patent number: 10688206
Abstract: A gas-permeable filter system for a sterile container includes a filter element and a seal portion that sealingly surrounds a gas exchange opening provided in a sterile container wall section in such a manner that the seal portion rests against the sterile container wall section so that a sterile flow path is formed through the gas exchange opening and the filter element. A temperature-sensitive adjusting section releases at least the seal portion from the sterile container wall section when a specified temperature is reached or exceeded such that a non-sterile flow path is formed which allows fluid to be supplied or discharged via the gas exchange opening while bypassing the filter element. The sterile container includes a base and walls that define a receiving space. The sterile container also includes a cover for closing the receiving space. At least one filter system is preferably secured to the sterile container base.

  • Patent number: 10569941
Abstract: A security seal includes a base with a locking projection and a head connected to the base with at least one blocking tab. Each blocking tab is connected to the head via a hinge element, together with a safety closure with a first closure part and a second closure part, which can be moved between an open position and a closed position relative to the first closure part. The first closure part has a seating on which the base of a security seal can be engaged so that, when the second closure part is in the closed position, a blocking tab of the security seal overlaps the second closure part on the side opposite the first closure part. A security container includes a container tub, lid and safety closure, wherein either the first or second closure part is arranged on either the container tub or lid.

  • Publication number: 20200012113
Abstract: The invention relates to a remote sensing device comprising a detector with a predefined field of view (FOV); and an emitter emitting pulses of light with an overall divergence angle ?div in the retinal hazard region which further comprises at least one diffuser wherein the divergence angle after the diffuser is ?0; and at least one lens configured to transform the light from said diffuser to a determined divergence angle matching the FOV of the detector, or to a virtual image of predefined size appropriate in magnitude given the divergence in order to ensure the most restrictive position regarding eye-safety to be at the same position for pulsed and (quasi-)continuous wave operation; and to emit the transformed light. The invention further discloses a smartphone comprising such a remote sensing device characterized by its improved eye-safety properties for myopic people.

  • Patent number: 10434206
Abstract: A closure for a medical sterile container having a trough-like first container part and a lid-type second container part includes a closure flap which can be arranged on one of the container parts so as to be able to pivot between a closed position, in which the container parts are interlocked with each other by the closure, and an open position in which the container parts are unlocked. The closure includes a latch element which in the closed position of the closure interlocks the closure flap with the other container part.

  • Patent number: 10398872
Abstract: A mouthpiece for controlled delivery of a breathing gas including oxygen, preferably an increased ratio of oxygen with respect to ambient air, to the respiratory tracts of a user which includes a valve having two modes: a closed default mode, which substantially impedes any flow of the breathing gas through the valve; and an active open mode, which allows for a substantial flow of the breathing gas through the valve, wherein the open mode can be activated by the user manipulating the valve with his/her mouth. Such a valve may be used in a device for delivery of breathing gas and in an apparatus for controlled delivery of the breathing gas to the respiratory tracts of a user. A method for controlled delivery of the breathing gas to the respiratory tracts of a user may include operating the valve.

  • Patent number: 10363331
Abstract: A sterilization indicator for a sterile container includes a shape-memory element in the form of a compression spring, which, when a predetermined temperature is reached or exceeded, subjects an indicating unit to a defined axial compressive force. The indicating unit is biased by a restoring spring in the counter-direction of the shape-memory element by way of a restoring force which is smaller than the defined axial compressive force. A latching mechanism can be actuated by a closing or locking mechanism of the sterile container. Following or during the closing or locking of the sterile container, the latching mechanism retains the indicating unit in a sterile position, once the unit has been moved into the sterile position by the shape-memory element. Upon opening or unlocking of the sterile container below the sterilization temperature, it frees the indicating unit, whereupon the restoring spring moves the indicating unit back into an unsterile position.
