  • Patent number: 10267477
Abstract: A lighting module for a motor vehicle includes a first light source and a first collimator for generating a first light beam of “low beam” type in collaboration with a first projection lens. Also included are second and a third light sources, the second light source collaborating with a second collimator to generate a first beam complementing the first light beam in order to form a second light beam of “high beam” type. In order to reduce the visibility of a cut-off zone in the second beam, the third light source collaborates with a third collimator and/or a second projection lens in order to form a second complementary beam which at least partly overlaps the cut-off zone. A front headlight for a motor vehicle can include such a lighting module.

  • Patent number: 10234265
Abstract: A device for measuring a distance to an object comprises a beam splitter for splitting broadband coherent light emitted by a light source in measuring light which is guided through an object arm to the object to be measured and in reference light which is guided to a reference arm. The object arm includes a focusing optics with a focus movable along an optical axis of the object arm. The focusing optics comprises a movable optical element and is configured such that a movement of the movable optical element along the optical axis causes a higher movement of the focus of the focusing optics along the optical axis. The movable optical element of the focusing optics is coupled to the reference arm such that the optical path length of the reference arm can be tracked synchronously with and dependent on the movement of the focus of the focusing optics.

  • Patent number: 10190741
Abstract: Lens for a lighting device of a motor vehicle includes a rear face designed to be oriented toward a light source of the lighting device, and a convex front face designed to be oriented toward the roadway being illuminated. The lens has a median vertical plane designed to be substantially orthogonal to the roadway, the front face having a first zone of diffusion with microstructures adapted to diffuse the light emitted by the light source, the first zone of diffusion extending in the median vertical plane. The front face furthermore includes at least two second zones of diffusion each one having microstructures adapted to diffuse the light emitted by the light source, the two second zones of diffusion being situated on either side of the median vertical plane. The microstructures of the two zones of diffusion have a depth absolutely greater than the depth of the microstructures of the first zone of diffusion.

  • Publication number: 20180364583
Abstract: A projection lens is disclosed for imaging a pattern arranged in an object plane of the projection lens into an image plane of the projection lens via electromagnetic radiation having an operating wavelength ? from the extreme ultraviolet range. The projection lens includes a multiplicity of mirrors having mirror surfaces arranged in a projection beam path between the object plane and the image plane so that a pattern of a mask in the object plane is imagable into the image plane via the mirrors. A first imaging scale in a first direction running parallel to a scan direction is smaller in terms of absolute value than a second imaging scale in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The projection lens also includes a dynamic wavefront manipulation system for correcting astigmatic wavefront aberration portions caused by reticle displacement.
