  • Patent number: 11294922
Abstract: A system, method and computer-readable medium for modeling relationships between query responses in a data set including receiving a selection of one or more first queries and one or more second queries, receiving a selection of one or more first strings and one or more second strings, determining one or more representative values corresponding to one or more intersections, each intersection corresponding to a unique combination of a first query, at least one second query, a first string, and at least one second string, and generating a three-dimensional representation including one or more indicators corresponding to the one or more intersections, a visual attribute of each indicator in the one or more indicators reflecting a representative value corresponding to that intersection and the one or more indicators being organized within the three-dimensional representation along three axes.

  • Patent number: 11209273
Abstract: A celestial navigation system includes an optical device for receiving light from a celestial object, a spectrometer for measuring a spectrum of the light in sufficient detail to identify absorption and/or emission features, and a processor for processing the spectrum to match the spectrum, or a processed version thereof, against a set of reference spectra information in a database, a device for measuring the pointing direction of the optical device and a clock. The matching may be on a maximum likelihood basis. The system is thus able, on identification of a single star, and, using commonly available navigational almanacs, to calculate a geographical position. Celestial navigation takes place even when only one celestial object (that is also within the database) is visible, although improved accuracy may be obtained with multiple observations. Advantageously, the database includes stars of the K and/or M type, that have more characteristic spectral content.

  • Patent number: 10648650
Abstract: A light fixture includes an electronic accessory module such as a wireless communication module, and a clip for mounting the accessory module to a panel of the light fixture. The clip includes features for snapping the accessory module to a panel of the light fixture, for example to a printed circuit board holding light emitting diodes or to a sheet metal panel that is part of the structure of the light fixture. The clip may hold the accessory module electronics away from any metal parts of the light fixture. In the case that the accessory module is a wireless communication module, this spacing may facilitate robust wireless communication.
