  • Publication number: 20120036679
Abstract: An asymmetrical resistant hinge set includes at least a resistant hinge and an elastic element coaxially positioned. The resistant hinge is hinged on a first pivotal means located on the bottom side of a body. The elastic element provides action forces on the resistant hinge and one-way resistance to generate an asymmetrical hinge effect with a greater resistance in one direction and a smaller resistance in another direction when a support lid is flipped in forward and reverse directions to reduce the resistance of the resistant hinge. As a result, when the support lid is flipped to a selected angle it still can bear the weight of the body of a portable electronic device at the anchored position without drifting.

  • Patent number: 7890479
Abstract: An XML schema is compiled into an annotated automaton encoding, which includes a parsing table for structural information and annotation for type information. The representation is extended to include a mapping from schema types to states in a parsing table. To validate a fragment against a schema type, it is necessary simply to determine the state corresponding to the schema type, and start the validation process from that state. When the process returns to the state, fragment validation has reached successful completion. This approach is more efficient than a general tree representation. Only the data representation of the schema information is handled, making it much easier than manipulating validation parser code generated by a parser generator. In addition, only one representation is needed for schema information for both document and fragment validation. This approach also provides a basis for incremental validation after update.

  • Publication number: 20100231518
Abstract: A keyboard having multi-axis balance touch keys and particularly a keyboard equipped with touch keys aims to provide steady depressing operation. Each touch key includes a depressible plate, a contact switch, a base and a plurality of balance elements. The balance elements are arranged in two different axial directions and latched respectively on first retaining elements located on the depressible plate and second retaining elements located on the base. The first and second retaining elements have respectively at least one horizontal slot to allow the balance elements to slide therein parallel with the depressible plate. Thus downward depressing forces can be evenly distributed and a steady depressing movement is achieved wherever the touch keys is depressed. Swaying of the touch keys can be prevented and correct output signals can be delivered from the keyboard.
