Abstract: A high capacity ink supply apparatus and particular an ink supply apparatus for inkjet printers mainly includes a high capacity tank, a duct and an ink cartridge. The high capacity tank has an air intake device to receive air and a check valve to allow the ink to flow in one direction. The ink cartridge is formed in a standardized fashion to be housed in a core trough of an imitated outer cartridge which is compatible with the original ink cartridge of a corresponding brand. Such a structure can increase ink storage capacity and reduce ink utilization cost and improve the applicability for various brands.

In the data acquisition method, the cache memory is partially written back and invalidate, such that a portion of the data in the cache memory is written back to the DMA buffer. The endpoint device is directed to use a non-snoop transaction to read the data stored in the DMA buffer. The data stored in the DMA buffer is acquired directly without snooping the processor when receiving a non-snoop read transaction.

Abstract: A car stereo hard disk player and particularly a player coupling with a car stereo to broadcast digital music (such as MP3) includes a case, a hard disk drive, a music control unit and a radio emission unit. The invention enables users to store a great amount of music through computers or the like to a portable hard disk drive for broadcasting in the car to save the trouble and risk of changing music CD during driving.

Upon detecting a trigger event, a determination is made of at least one row in a base table affected by the trigger event. For each column in the base table of a data type that is referenced in a triggered action associated with the trigger event, a reference is generated referencing the data of the data type. The reference is inserted in a transition table column including data of the data type from the affected row in the base table referenced in the triggered action. The reference is used to access the data of the data type when performing the triggered action.

Abstract: A multimedia car stereo system and particularly to a multimedia car stereo system that has a center sound track source to match speakers installed at different locations that output sound to generate a surrounding sound effect. It mainly includes a front left speaker, a front right speaker, a rear left speaker, a rear right speaker, a center speaker and a matching car stereo host machine. The center speaker is located on the central control station at the front side of the car to provide the center sound track source. Mating the output sound from other speakers mounted on different locations, a surrounding sound effect like that in the theater may be achieved in the car.

The query operation is performed on each result table separately to produce two intermediate result tables. The set operator is then applied to the two intermediate result tables to produce a final result table that is a same result table that would have been produced by performing the query operation on the table derived from the set operation performed on the two result tables.

Abstract: A digital music broadcasting audio system and particularly a music broadcasting audio system to retrieve digital music information from different storage devices consists of a basic audio system structure (including at least a tape broadcasting device, a CD broadcasting device, a radio-receiving device, a front end processor, an audio selection switch, a back end amplifier and one or more speaker) to couple with a storage device input unit so that users can retrieve digital music information from different storage devices, and the audio system can broadcast digital music besides performing the function of broadcasting radio, CDs and cartridge tapes.

The query rewrite matching algorithm is then performed on the materialized view candidates. By first filtering the materialized views based on their signatures, the number of materialized views on which the query rewrite matching algorithm is performed is significantly reduced, improving performance.

Abstract: An anti-theft and two-way communication apparatus for vehicles and particularly an apparatus capable of examining incoming phone numbers to prevent vehicle theft. The apparatus mainly consists of a communication module and a vehicle anti-theft module. A fixed line or wireless telephone with a preset phone number may be dialed to the communication module to set or release the vehicle anti-theft module thereby to greatly reduce vehicle theft. The signals of the incoming phone number are generated by communication systems thus cannot be forged or replicated illegitimately, and can prevent replication by burglars during the remote control operation.

Abstract: A switching control device for transmitting calls received by a cellular phone to a fixed-network telephone enables people to receive calls transmitted to a cellular phone by way of a fixed network telephone particularly equipped with a plurality of extension lines via conversion operations. It operates with a cellular phone/fixed network telephone switching device in cooperation with an on/off device. When a cellular phone receives an incoming call, the switching device will first detect the main telephone set and its extension lines of their individual status of use; and the on/off device is selectively actuated of its on and off states and also its vibration ring operation according to the detection. Thereby a user can pick up a nearest extension line without rushing back to a main telephone set when an incoming call is transmitted to a cellular phone.
