  • Patent number: 12289414
Abstract: Novel tools and techniques are provided for utilizing blockchain to implement named data networking. In various embodiments, a computing system might determine whether a cache that is communicatively coupled to the computing system contains data that is responsive to a first request received from a user. If so, the computing system might retrieve and send (to the client device) data that is responsive to the received first request. If not, the computing system might send, to a blockchain system, a second request for identifying a blockchain containing a block containing data responsive to the received first request. In response to identifying such a blockchain, the computing system might receive a copy of the identified blockchain; might abstract, from the identified blockchain, the block containing the data responsive to the received first request; might abstract the data from the identified block; and might send the data to the client device.

  • Patent number: 12287116
Abstract: A housing for a component (e.g., a heat exchanger) of a heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system is disclosed that includes one or more attachment flanges and/or one or more support flanges that are integrated into the housing. The disclosed housing reduces or completely eliminates the use of separate brackets and fasteners when installing components within the housing and/or when coupling the housing to other components of the HVAC system. By dramatically reducing or eliminating these separate components, the disclosed housing designs reduce the likelihood for installation errors, as well as delays due to misplaced brackets and/or fasteners during installation. Accordingly, the disclosed housing designs enable a cost-effective solution for reducing the cost and complexity of installing HVAC system components.

  • Patent number: 12287280
Abstract: A bi-directional photoacoustic gas sensor includes a first photoacoustic cell, where an electromagnetic radiation source emits radiation to interact with an external gas and generate pressure waves that are detected by a MEMS diaphragm. A second photoacoustic cell has an interior volume and acoustic compliance that corresponds to the interior volume and acoustic compliance of the first photoacoustic cell. Processing circuitry within a substrate uses a first acoustic signal, received by the first photoacoustic cell, and a second acoustic signal, received by the second photoacoustic cell, to determine a bi-directional response of the gas sensor to remove noise and improve the sensor's signal-to-noise ratio.

  • Patent number: 12289066
Abstract: A system for calibrating inductance at a motor comprises the motor, a motor drive circuit, and a processor operably coupled to the motor. The processor determines inductance map data that comprises a set of inductance values associated with a set of current values. The processor determines that the motor is in operation. In response, the processor determines current values with which the motor is being operated. The processor determines inductance values associated with the determined current values. The processor determines reference current values at the motor based on the determined inductance values. The processor also determines a speed, angle, flux, and torque associated with the motor based at least on the determined inductance values. The processor then controls the operation of the motor based on the determined reference currents, the speed, and the torque.
