Abstract: A hair care appliance is provided. The hair care appliance includes a handle and a body coupled to the handle via a rotational hinge joint. The body can be movable via the rotational hinge joint between a straight configuration in which the body is aligned with a longitudinal axis of the handle and a bent configuration in which the body extends along an axis transverse to the longitudinal axis of the handle. A fluid flow path extends between an inlet in the handle and an outlet in the body. The hair care appliance can be operated with minimal loss of fluid flow in either the straight configuration and the bent configuration. The hair care appliance includes a fan assembly in the handle and a heater assembly in the body that are positioned to create a balanced center of mass of the hair care appliance when operated by a user.

Abstract: Examples of enterprise management using managed virtual machines (VMs) are described. In one example, a virtual machine base image is validated to comply with a plurality of managed virtual machine packaging rules of a management service. Managed virtual machine configuration parameters are written to a managed virtual machine configuration file of a managed virtual machine. The managed virtual machine includes a management component that implements instructions from a management service. A managed virtual machine package file is generated to include the managed virtual machine configuration file and enterprise-specific enterprise resources identified from the management service based on the enterprise identifier.

  • Publication number: 20250144512
Abstract: A game engine is configured to accept human intelligence tasks as in-game content and present the in-game content to the game player. A method performed by the game engine enables performance of human intelligence tasks, such as visual discrimination, in a video game context. The game engine may receive a definition of human intelligence tasks from one or more remote sources. The game engine may present the human intelligence tasks to multiple video game participants as in-game content. The game engine defines and enables game play rules for the in-game content. The game play rules set parameters for the multiple video game participants to perform the human intelligence tasks to achieve desired results. The game engine may award each of the multiple video game participants an improved game score upon successful performance of the human intelligence tasks in accordance with the game play rules. The game engine may measure success by consistency in responses between different participants or trials.

  • Publication number: 20250148073
Abstract: The disclosure relates to systems and methods for managing state using relatively small assistance from protected hardware. Obfuscated code segments may communicate with supporting protected hardware, store encrypted state values in main memory, and/or communicate via secure channels to secure platform hardware components. In various embodiments, consistent state may be achieved, at least in part, by computing secure tag information and storing the secure tag information in a secure and/or otherwise protected device register. Consistent with embodiments disclosed herein, the tag information may be used to derive keys used to encrypt and/or decrypt stored state information. Tag information may further be used in connection with verification operations prior to using the information to derive associated keys.

  • Publication number: 20250144405
Abstract: The present invention relates to an electrical nerve stimulator configured to deliver an electrical signal to a user to entrain Mu-band neural oscillations and/or Beta-band neural oscillations. The electrical nerve stimulator may be used in the treatment of neurological conditions associated with desynchronization of neural oscillations, such as Tourette's syndrome. The electrical nerve stimulator may be wearable on a wrist of a user, and may be configured to deliver rhythmic stimulation at a frequency falling within the same frequency range of Mu-band or Beta-band neural oscillations. The invention provides a convenient means of treating conditions such as Tourette's syndrome without the need for specialist medical equipment or facilities. Also disclosed is a method of delivering an electrical signal to a user to entrain Mu-band neural oscillations and/or Beta-band neural oscillations.

  • Publication number: 20250146580
Abstract: Apparatuses for controlling fluid flow are important components for delivering process fluids for semiconductor fabrication. These apparatuses for controlling fluid flow frequently rely on valves which can provide flows at different rates and in a minimally turbulent manner. In one embodiment, a valve assembly is disclosed, the valve assembly having a valve body, a closure member, a seat, and a radial flow guide. The radial flow guide has a plurality of flow passages. The closure member has a needle, the needle having a plurality of grooves therein. The resulting valve assembly enables improved control of fluid and reduces turbulence in the resultant flow.

  • Publication number: 20250150659
Abstract: Systems and methods for a media content delivery service. A media content provider includes a data store for storing and serving media content to subscribers. The media content provider continually records and or otherwise stores video and audio content from around the world. Stored content will generally correspond to a large number of other media content providers, such as cable television operators, Internet based media content providers, television networks, and so on. Subscribers to the media provider interact with the media content provider via hardware and/or software mechanisms either provided by the media content provider or conforming to specifications of the media content provider. Based on these subscriber's subscriptions to the other content providers, the subscribers will have viewing, listening, or application execution privileges for content maintained in the data store. Content of a subscriber corresponding to multiple video content providers is maintained and served by a single provider.

  • Publication number: 20250145079
Abstract: An apparatus secured to a lamp of a vehicle is designed to release the lamp upon impact to the lamp. The apparatus may secure with a lamp housing as well as with a front end module of a vehicle. The apparatus may include a fastener that secures with the lamp housing. When the lamp is impacted, the fastener may shear (e.g., break), thus allowing displacement of the headlamp. As a result, pedestrians and/or objects impacting the lamp are less likely to incur damage. Moreover, the lamp is less likely to be damaged, and may be reinstalled when the fastener is replaced.

  • Publication number: 20250149111
Abstract: A method may include applying a protein sequence computation model to generate, based on an input protein sequence, a plurality of proposed protein sequences. A set of possible amino acid residues for each position in at least a portion of an output protein sequence may be identified based on the plurality of proposed protein sequences. A first protein structure having the output protein sequence may be generated by applying a protein structure computation model to select, for each position in at least the portion of the output protein sequence, an amino acid residue from a corresponding set of possible amino acid residues. The protein structure computation model may further determine the conformation of the amino acid residues selected for inclusion in the output protein sequence. In some cases, the first protein structure may be grafted onto a second protein structure to form a third protein structure.
