  • Patent number: 10646964
Abstract: Bonded surfaces are formed by adhering first nanorods and second nanorods to respective first and second surfaces. The first shell is formed on the first nanorods and the second shell is formed on the second nanorods, wherein at least one of the first nanorods and second nanorods, and the first shell and the second shell are formed of distinct metals. The surfaces are then exposed to at least one condition that causes the distinct metals to form an alloy, such as eutectic alloy having a melting point below the temperature at which the alloy is formed, thereby bonding the surfaces upon which solidification of the alloy.

  • Patent number: 10612333
Abstract: A logging tool assembly comprises an elongate sensor assembly, a plurality of sensor transportation apparatuses for transporting the elongate sensor assembly through a wellbore, and an orientation structure. The sensor transportation apparatuses are spaced apart along the elongate sensor assembly. Each sensor transportation apparatus comprises an engagement structure to connect the sensor transportation apparatus to the elongate sensor assembly and prevent relative rotation between the sensor transportation apparatus and the elongate sensor assembly, and one or more pairs of wheels arranged to rotate on an axis of rotation substantially perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the elongate sensor assembly. The axes of rotation of the pairs of wheels of said transportation apparatuses are parallel. The orientation structure is connected to the elongate sensor assembly to prevent relative rotation between the orientation structure and the elongate sensor assembly.

  • Patent number: 10605850
Abstract: Quality control testing for a batch of electronic modules. A series of tests are performed on manufactured electronic modules, including tests sensitive to the failure rate of previously tested modules. Specifically, a first test comprised of two phases is performed on the module batch. Further screening is then performed responsive to detection of a wire sweep failure in a subset of failed modules from the first test phase. The further screening is on modules that passed the first test phase and excludes modules that failed the first test phase.

  • Patent number: 10581485
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to near-end crosstalk (NEXT) cancellation. A transmit communication signal is transmitted over a first Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) connection using a first group of frequencies and a receive communication signal is received over a second DSL connection using a second group of frequencies that at least partially overlaps the first group of frequencies. A crosstalk correlation between the first and second communication signals is determined. Based on the crosstalk correlation, a crosstalk cancellation signal is generated. The crosstalk cancellation signal is subtracted from the second communication signal, with the intention of reducing NEXT.

  • Publication number: 20190377723
Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for tracking change data in a database. A database, stored at a computer system, is accessed with a plurality of data written to fields in the database, wherein each data in the fields comprises a record header. Data is changed in at least one field of the plurality of data in the database via the computer system, wherein the changing the data changes the record header for the at least one field. A transaction identification (ID) is stored in the record header for each change to the at least one field. A flag is created in the record header signaling the change to the at least one field. Successive versions of the database are linked together such that a subscriber accessing the database can automatically view a current version of the database with the change by accessing the record header and identifying the flag.

  • Publication number: 20190171530
Abstract: Embodiments redirect data from a source to a plurality of deduplication blockpools. In one embodiment, operations include accessing a binary large object (BLOB) that includes a plurality of blocklets, a blocklet having a hash value; upon determining that the plurality of blocklets includes less than a threshold number of blocklets: selecting, according to a first rule set, a target blockpool from among the plurality of deduplication blockpools; upon determining that the plurality of blocklets includes at least the threshold number of blocklets: selecting, according to a second, different rule set, a target blockpool. The second rule set includes a BalanceQuery rule that computes a fitness value for a member of the plurality of deduplication blockpools, and selects a target blockpool based, at least in part, on the fitness value. Embodiments provide the BLOB to the target blockpool.

  • Patent number: 10156590
Abstract: A digital multimeter receives a primary signal including a small amplitude DC component and an induced AC noise component with a magnitude exceeding a magnitude of the DC component. A 100 M? input resistor may couple an primary signal to signal processing circuitry that attenuates and filters the primary signal, convert a unipolar signal to a differential signal, and provide the differential output signal to an analog to digital converter. The multimeter may be configurable to couple any one or more of multiple available feedback paths to provide a plurality of available gain-bandwidth configurations. The multimeter may include a second input configurable with two or more feedback path impedances. The multimeter may include a second stage filter, shared by the primary and shunt inputs, that provides additional filtering and converts the signal to a differential signal. The second stage filter may support two or more available impedance configurations.

  • Patent number: 10083030
Abstract: An asynchronous dependency resolution system receives a request to store a first application component in an application repository, stores a first dependency map for the first application component in a dependency repository, and generates a first executable bundle for the first application component. The asynchronous dependency resolution system determines that the dependency repository comprises a first association between the first application component and a second application component, where the first application component is a dependency of a second application component, obtains source code for the second application component, and generates a second executable bundle for the second application component using the source code for the first and second application components.
