  • Publication number: 20210027592
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to utilizing a high generation cellular network for identifying devices associated with unauthorized activities and notifying enterprise facilities. A computing platform may collect device information for a plurality of user devices at a first location. Then, the computing platform may receive, from a first device at the first location, a message related to a first activity in a vicinity of the first location. Then, the computing platform may identify a sub-plurality of the plurality of user devices, wherein the sub-plurality of user devices are located at the first location at a time of occurrence of the first activity. Then, the computing platform may generate an alert notification comprising information related to the first activity and device information for the sub-plurality of user devices. Subsequently, the computing platform may send the alert notification to a collection of devices at a plurality of locations.

  • Publication number: 20210018976
Abstract: Power conservation for devices is facilitated based on likelihood of power usage level. An example method can comprise determining, by a first device comprising a processor, that a second device is within a defined proximity of a third device, wherein the third device is determined to be operating in a mode according to a first power consumption operation that satisfies a defined condition, and wherein the operating in the mode according to the first power consumption operation is based on the third device being located at a defined location. The method can also comprise facilitating, by the first device, modification of the mode of the third device based on a determination of a likelihood of usage of a second power consumption operation by the third device. In various embodiments, the third device is configured to operate according to the power save mode or the extended discontinuous reception mode.

  • Patent number: 10871702
Abstract: Described are systems and methods for surveying a destination as an unmanned aerial vehicle (“UAV”) descends toward the destination. To confirm that the destination is clear of objects and includes a safe landing or delivery location, such as a substantially planar surface, the UAV may capture and process images at different altitudes during the descent. Feature points of a first image captured at a first altitude may be paired with feature points of a second image captured at a second, different altitude. A homography may be computed to confirm that the paired feature points lie in the same plane and then the two images may be registered based on the paired feature points. The registered images may then be processed to determine depth information and determine if descent of the UAV is to continue or be aborted.

  • Publication number: 20200380082
Abstract: A method a system include obtaining a master list of layer traits including wire codes, each of the wire codes indicating a width of a corresponding wire, and including a maximum reach length of the corresponding wire and a time of flight (TOF) through the corresponding wire. The method also includes processing the master list of the layer traits to obtain a final list of the layer traits, the final list of the layer traits having fewer entries than the master list of the layer traits and being in a ranked order. A metric is calculated for each adjacent pair of the layer traits in the final list of layer traits. • Patent number: 10831971
Abstract: Methods and systems for improving the performance of a computer performing an electronic design. One or more nets of a netlist are sorted based on an amount of slack and a net of the one or more nets that is unprocessed and that has a least amount of slack is selected as a current target net. A layer of a higher bucket that is unprocessed for the currently selected target net is selected, the higher bucket being higher than a bucket of the current target net. A determination of whether capacity is available to route the current target net on the selected layer of the higher bucket is made and the current target net is routed on the selected layer of the higher bucket in response to capacity being available. One or more nets that are competing for resources with the current target net on the selected layer of the higher bucket are identified as candidate nets in response to capacity not being available.

  • Patent number: 10801046
Abstract: This document describes biochemical pathways for producing a difunctional product having an odd number of carbon atoms in vitro or in a recombinant host, or salts or derivatives thereof, by forming two terminal functional groups selected from carboxyl, amine, formyl, and hydroxyl groups in an aliphatic carbon chain backbone having an odd number of carbon atoms synthesized from (i) acetyl-CoA and propanedioyl-CoA via one or more cycles of methyl ester shielded carbon chain elongation or (ii) propanedioyl-[acp] via one or more cycles of methyl ester shielded carbon chain elongation. The biochemical pathways and metabolic engineering and cultivation strategies described herein rely on enzymes or homologs accepting methyl ester shielded aliphatic carbon chain backbones and maintaining the methyl ester shield for at least one further enzymatic step following one or more cycles of methyl ester shielded carbon chain elongation.

  • Publication number: 20200306394
Abstract: Method of using an antiseptic and pH modulating solution provides improved health outcomes in part by decolonizing surfaces, animate and inanimate, and improving tissue function and stress response, particularly the barrier properties and antimicrobial properties of tissues, especially skin and muscles, whether damaged or intact and at risk of damage. The method includes initial application followed by continued topical application on a periodic basis until the damaged area is restored or the risk of injury has passed, followed by continued maintenance application for a period of time thereafter. The method of using the solution is believed to restore and improve the functioning of tissues that naturally interrupt pathogenic mechanisms of disease in addition to providing antimicrobial support.

  • Publication number: 20200245955
Abstract: An apparatus for detecting sleep disorders, such as obstructive sleep apnea, includes a housing insertable into an ear canal of a subject. A sensor disposed within the housing measures a position of the subject's head relative to an axis of gravity. A transducer is responsive to the sensor and is capable of creating a stimulus detectable by the subject under certain conditions. In various embodiments, a controller receives signals corresponding to a pitch angle and a roll angle of the subject's head measured by the sensor, determines if the pitch and roll angles correspond to a sleep apnea inducing position, and causes the transducer to generate a stimulus upon determining that the subject's head is in the sleep apnea inducing position more than a predetermined threshold number of times. Various parameters of the stimulus may be modified with successive stimulus generation until a non-sleep apnea inducing position is detected.
