Publication number: 20250101862Abstract: A machine learning-based system for automatically locating and tracking a transient object in a conduit of interest associated with a hydrocarbon well operation. The system may train a machine learning model using pressure data received from a conduit monitoring system that operates by introducing a pressure wave into the fluid within a conduit and using a sensor to measure the magnitude of pressure waves reflected by a transient object in the conduit. The pressure data can be filtered to remove noise and focus on a frequency range of interest prior to being used to generate a training dataset for training the machine learning model. The machine learning model may be trained to generate a predictive model that can predict the location and movement of a transient object in a conduit of interest based on new pressure measurements associated with the conduit of interest.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 27, 2023Publication date: March 27, 2025Inventors: Oluwatosin Ogundare, Krishna Babu Yerubandi, Arideep Bhowmick, Antonio Acquaah, Chalice Young, Philippe Quero, Stephen Newman, Graham Jack, David Bennett

Patent number: 12254105Abstract: Systems and methods for detecting interception devices. In some aspects, the system causes transmission of a first detection signal. Based on receiving a first response signal, the system determines a first probability of detection of a first interception device. Based on the first probability of detection, the system transmits a first command to deactivate a user authentication interface. The system may cause transmission of a second detection signal and determine a second probability of detection of a second interception device. In response to the second probability, the system may transmit a second command to reactivate the user authentication interface.Type: GrantFiled: November 6, 2023Date of Patent: March 18, 2025Assignee: Capital One Services, LLCInventors: Michael James Kidd, Stephen Young, Charles Lawson

Patent number: 12229475Abstract: Systems and methods for a media content system. A media content provider includes storage for storing and serving video content to subscribers. The media content provider records and or otherwise stores video content from around the world. The system includes display devices configured to identify and tailor content to multiple individual users. Each user may have individual settings which provide for a customized viewing environment and experience. The system is configured to identify users of the system in order to tailor the content as appropriate. In addition, identification of users allows for the identification of the subscription content that corresponds to the user. Based upon identification of a user and corresponding subscription, the user's subscription content may be streamed to any location. In this manner, the users subscribed content may follow the user from home to a friend's house, or elsewhere.Type: GrantFiled: November 7, 2023Date of Patent: February 18, 2025Assignee: Apple Inc.Inventors: Gregory N. Patent number: 12225253Abstract: Systems and methods for a media content delivery service. A media content provider includes a data store for storing and serving media content to subscribers. The media content provider continually records and or otherwise stores video and audio content from around the world. Stored content will generally correspond to a large number of other media content providers, such as cable television operators, Internet based media content providers, television networks, and so on. Subscribers to the media provider interact with the media content provider via hardware and/or software mechanisms either provided by the media content provider or conforming to specifications of the media content provider. Based on these subscriber's subscriptions to the other content providers, the subscribers will have viewing, listening, or application execution privileges for content maintained in the data store. Content of a subscriber corresponding to multiple video content providers is maintained and served by a single provider.Type: GrantFiled: March 25, 2022Date of Patent: February 11, 2025Assignee: Apple Inc.Inventors: Gregory N. Patent number: 12123881Abstract: The present invention is directed to the discovery that RapI-GTP, Rac1-GTP and Flt3-L can be used as Biomarkers for the early detection of sepsis in patients suspected of a bacterial infection which presents as sepsis or is likely to produce sepsis. In particular, the present invention is directed to methods, assays and kits which may be used to distinguish sepsis (infection) from systematic inflammatory response caused by sterile inflammation in trauma patients. The method may be used to diagnose bacteria infection and/or sepsis and monitor therapy of a patient to allow modification of treatment and/or cessation of treatment.Type: GrantFiled: April 18, 2019Date of Patent: October 22, 2024Assignee: UNM RAINFOREST INNOVATIONSInventors: Angela Wandinger-Ness, Tione Buranda, Peter Simons, Stephen Young

Publication number: 20240299118Abstract: A new and innovative medical sizing instrument and method are provided for determining an appropriate depth and/or length of a clavicle hook plate for a patient. The provided medical sizing instrument may enable a surgeon to determine an appropriate hook depth without having to switch between different components, such as a series of templates. In an example, a surgeon may insert the medical sizing instrument into a patient the same as the surgeon would a clavicle hook plate, adjust the hook depth on the medical sizing instrument until a hook depth is obtained that appropriately maintains the anatomical alignment of the patient's clavicle and acromion, and read an indicated depth on the medical sizing instrument. The surgeon may then remove the medical sizing instrument from the patient and select the appropriate clavicle hook plate to insert into the patient.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 17, 2024Publication date: September 12, 2024Inventors: Stephen Young, Caleb Martin, Joshua P.
