The tamper evident carton may include a floor panel; side panels extending about a periphery of the floor panel; corner gussets extending between adjacent side panels, wherein the bottom panel, side panels, and corner gussets may be configurable to form a compartment region; first and second lid flaps extending from an uppermost edge of their respective side panels forming first and second moveable joints, respectively, therebetween, and the first and second lid flaps may each include an interlocking feature, such that the first and second lid flaps may interlock with one another when in a folded closed configuration; third and fourth lid flaps extending from an uppermost edge of their respective side panels forming third and fourth moveable joints, respectively, therebetween, and the third and fourth lid flaps may each include an interlocking feature, such that the third and fourth lid flaps may interlock with one another when in a folded closed configuration.

Abstract: A tamper-evident carton and method of using same. The tamper evident carton may include a floor panel; side panels extending about a periphery of the floor panel; corner gussets extending between adjacent side panels, wherein the floor panel, side panels, and corner gussets may be configurable to form a compartment region; a lid flap extending from an uppermost edge of one of the side panels forming a moveable hinge joint therebetween, the lid flap may include a front edge flap extending from a front edge of the lid flap opposite that of the moveable hinge joint; and a tear strip disposed in the front edge flap.

Abstract: A carton with a removable lid, the carton may include a floor panel; a plurality of side panels extending about a periphery of the bottom panel. The one or more of the side panels may include one or more tabs extending from an upper edge thereof. The carton may further include foldable corner gussets extending between adjacent side panels. The bottom panel, side panels, and foldable corner gussets may be configurable to form a compartment region; and a removable lid. The removable lid may include a lid panel and one or more slots formed in the lid panel, wherein the lid panel may be configured to cover the compartment region, and wherein the one or more slots may be sized, shaped, and positioned such that when the removable lid is installed atop the compartment region, the one or more tabs align with the one or more slots and are received therethrough.

Abstract: A foldable food carton including a lid portion; a bottom portion; and a viewable tab attached to the lid portion, wherein the tab comprises one or more of alphabetic text, numeric text, QR code, bar code, graphic, design, or combination thereof printed on the tab. A method of assembling a carton with a viewable tab, including providing a carton in an unfolded configuration, and folding the carton into an assembled configuration, wherein upon folding the carton into the assembled configuration the tab moves from a first position to a second position.

Abstract: A tamper-evident bag seal including tabs for separating flaps of the seal along a perforation is provided. The tamper-evident bag seal may be a paper or paperboard panel that folds over the handles of an existing bag and is secured to the sides of the bag. The tamper-evident bag seal includes a fold having perforated sections adjacent centrally located tabs. By pulling the tabs in opposite directions, the perforated sections are compromised, permitting access to bag contents and evidencing tampering of the bag seal.
