Abstract: A foldable food carton including a lid portion; a bottom portion; and a viewable tab attached to the lid portion, wherein the tab comprises one or more of alphabetic text, numeric text, QR code, bar code, graphic, design, or combination thereof printed on the tab. A method of assembling a carton with a viewable tab, including providing a carton in an unfolded configuration, and folding the carton into an assembled configuration, wherein upon folding the carton into the assembled configuration the tab moves from a first position to a second position.

Abstract: A food carton insert and methods for providing multiple food compartments in a food container is disclosed. The food carton insert may be used for rendering one large compartment of an existing food carton or container into multiple smaller food compartments. In some embodiments, the presently disclosed food carton insert may be a substantially continuous sheet of paperboard that is folded in a manner that provides at least two food compartments separated by a divider. Additionally, a method of making the presently disclosed food carton insert is provided. Further, a method of using the presently disclosed food carton insert is provided.

Abstract: A food carton including a one or more removable closure flaps. In various embodiments the food carton may include a bottom panel; side panels extending about a periphery of the bottom panel; corner gussets extending between adjacent side panels, wherein the bottom panel, side panels, and corner gussets may be configurable to form a compartment region; and one or more closure flaps extending from an uppermost edge of one or more of the side panels forming a moveable joint where the closure flap and corresponding side panel intersect, wherein one or more of the one or more closure flaps may be removable along its respective moveable joint.

Abstract: A carton with a removable lid, the carton may include a floor panel; a plurality of side panels extending about a periphery of the bottom panel. The one or more of the side panels may include one or more tabs extending from an upper edge thereof. The carton may further include foldable corner gussets extending between adjacent side panels. The bottom panel, side panels, and foldable corner gussets may be configurable to form a compartment region; and a removable lid. The removable lid may include a lid panel and one or more slots formed in the lid panel, wherein the lid panel may be configured to cover the compartment region, and wherein the one or more slots may be sized, shaped, and positioned such that when the removable lid is installed atop the compartment region, the one or more tabs align with the one or more slots and are received therethrough.
