  • Publication number: 20200369255
Abstract: the present invention involves several approaches for coupling the cover of the angle cock to the main body of the angle cock to avoid the need for tools to effect a repair of the angle cock. The angle cock has a main body with a brake pipe inlet, a brake pipe outline, and a mouth positioned between the brake pipe inlet and the brake pipe outlet. A ball valve positioned in the main body to selectively permit communication between the brake pipe inlet and the brake pipe outlet and has a stem extending out of the mouth. A cover is positioned in covering relation to the mouth to seal the mouth and the stem. The cover and mouth include corresponding structure to ensure a tight seal and to interlock the cover and main body together in a way that can be unlocked without tools.

  • Patent number: 10772177
Abstract: A lighting script—for use by a lighting controller to control at least one luminaire to render illumination effects, as the video content is outputted in a space illuminated by the at least one luminaire, synchronously with the outputting of the video content—is generated as follows. Frame image data of the video content is processed to determine at least one color palette of the frame image data. A sequence of illumination effects—to be rendered during the outputting of the video content and which is modifiable by a user—is displayed to the user. The displayed sequence conveys at least one illumination color derived from the determined color palette to be rendered in at least one of the illumination effects. • Publication number: 20200281064
Abstract: Each of a plurality of lighting nodes in a linear array is connected at different respective positions along a flexible, rigid or malleable continuous supporting line. One or more attachable dividers are provided, configured to be mechanically attachable by a user onto the line without severing the line, or at least without completely severing the line, each between a respective neighbouring pair of the lighting nodes. Each of the attachable dividers is configured so as, when attached to the line, to enable detection of a position at which the divider is connected along the line relative to the lighting nodes, and configured to provide information related to said position to the controller, thus dividing the lighting nodes into different segments along the line. A controller is configured to apply a different lighting effect to the illumination emitted by the lighting nodes in each of some or all of the different segments.

  • Patent number: 10567728
Abstract: A 3-D picture signal is provided as follows. An image and depth components having a depth map for the image are provided, the depth map includes depth indication values. A depth indication value relates to a particular portion of the image and indicates a distance between an object at least partially represented by that particular portion of the image and the viewer. The 3-D picture signal conveys the 3-D picture according to a 3D format having image frames encoding the image. Extra frames (D, D?) are encoded that provide the depth components and further data for use in rendering based on the image and the depth components. The extra frames are encoded using spatial and/or temporal subsampling of the depth components and the further data, while the extra frames are interleaved with the image frames in the signal in a Group of Pictures coding structure (GOP).
