  • Publication number: 20190158449
Abstract: Concepts and technologies disclosed herein are directed to per-session invocation of priority services based upon network available information. A service architecture can include a service architecture core and a service execution runtime framework in which a priority service application is executable to perform operations to provide a priority service for a communications session. The priority service application can determine whether a priority service should be invoked for the communications session based upon priority criteria. If a determination is made that the priority service is to be invoked for the communications session based upon the priority criteria, the priority service application can invoke the priority service for the communications session.

  • Publication number: 20190141043
Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a process that includes receiving first input defining a relationship between first and second entities, generating a first rule based on the first input, wherein the first rule determines accessibility of a networked service, and associating the first rule with the relationship. The first rule modifies settings of a service management infrastructure to effectuate the first rule in accordance with the relationship, wherein the service management infrastructure provides access to the networked service based on the accessibility. Other embodiments are disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20180349860
Abstract: A method includes receiving, at a messaging server from a first device associated with a first user, an update message to change a meeting from a first time to a second time. The message is directed to a second user. The method also includes, without receipt of a response to the update message from a device associated with the second user and in response to a current time being less than a particular time from the second time, selecting a set of devices associated with the second user and sending an alert regarding the meeting from the messaging server to each device of the set of devices. The set of devices identify devices that satisfy a device capability needed to participate in the meeting and that are currently available for use.

  • Publication number: 20180337876
Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a process that determines an identity of a subscriber of a media service. A viewing criterion of the subscriber is determined and a media content item is identified based on the viewing criterion of the subscriber. The media content item is provided for delivery to a media processing device without first requiring a request for delivery of the media content item. The media processing device is identified by a network service provider based on a selection of the media processing device from among a number of devices of the subscriber that are registered with the network service provider. The selection of the media processing device is based on device capabilities and the identity of the subscriber. Other embodiments are disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20180278656
Abstract: A network for delivering application level multimedia services includes simple, application-level switches and rules managers. Each application-level switch includes rules defining message edits and selections of message destinations. The rules managers operate to manage the rules. Network functions process messages on the application level, and include operation of one or more rules managers and operation of an application-level switch. The network function is performed by the switch application by performing application level message processing according to rules managed by the at least one of the plurality of rules managers. The application level switches together resolve a requested identity to one or more routable addresses, enabling the network to route a message.

  • Patent number: 9860228
Abstract: Pre-delivery authentication may be required prior to routing and delivery of electronic content. A sender of the electronic content, for example, may require that a recipient authenticate to ensure legitimate use or identity. Should pre-delivery authentication be required, the electronic content is held at any networked device while the recipient authenticates. If the recipient correctly authenticates, then the electronic content is released for delivery.

  • Publication number: 20170094063
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for processing a call to an aggregate endpoint device over a network are disclosed. For example, the method receives a session request by a Serving-Call Session Control Function (S-CSCF), wherein a route header for the session request comprises an aggregate endpoint identifier, and interacts with an application server to receive a Public User Identity (PUID) of the aggregate endpoint device in accordance with the aggregate endpoint identifier. The method performs a termination processing for the session request using the PUID of the aggregate endpoint device, and forwards the session request towards the aggregate endpoint device.
