  • Publication number: 20170241563
Abstract: The present disclosure is related to a valve assembly. The valve assembly includes a housing defining an inlet port and an outlet port. The outlet port extends along a longitudinal axis of the housing to enable a fluid flow through the outlet port in a first direction. The valve assembly includes a valve element at least partially located within the housing and movable along the longitudinal axis between a first position in which the outlet port is closed and a second position in which the outlet port is open. The valve assembly includes a biasing member located within the housing and configured to bias the valve element to the first position. The direction of movement of the valve element from the first position to the second position is generally opposite to the first direction.

  • Patent number: 9673890
Abstract: The apparatus and methodologies used herein leverages RoIP to generically transport either conventional modulation (e.g., AM, FM, phase or pulse) or complex modulation (e.g., GMSK, CDMA, TDMA, OFDM, etc.) in real time or near real time across an internet protocol link, such as Gigabit Ethernet (GBE). The purpose of the invention is a method of creating a live, virtual, modulation transcendent link by using an internet protocol (IP) link to extend the natural range of a connection between an RF signal source (e.g. transmitter) and an RF receiving device (e.g. receiver). This methodology is referred to herein as radio frequency over internet protocol (RFoIP).

  • Publication number: 20160359953
Abstract: A method for enhancing data migration via a Migration Manager is described. The method includes evaluating activity data corresponding to a particular set of data or a particular source device subject to data migration in order to determine whether a scheduled data migration can be performed. If the particular set of data or particular source device is currently being used, the scheduled data migration can be rescheduled. In other embodiments, the activity data can also be used to automatically schedule data migrations via the Migration Manager.

  • Publication number: 20160357438
Abstract: A method for migrating a nickname cache via a migration manager is described. The method includes the migration manager locating where the nickname cache is stored and locating where the nickname cache is to be migrated. Once the source and target devices are located, the migration manager can generate any necessary transformations so that the data migrated from the source device to the target device is compatible. The nickname cache can then be extracted from the source device, transformed and stored into the nickname cache of the target device.

  • Publication number: 20160357735
Abstract: A method for determining mail archive ownership during data migration is described. The method is performed by a Migration Manager that is capable of generating a list of possible owners based on confidence level. The confidence level is obtained by scanning various messages associated with the mail archive and determining a frequency of appearance a particular user name (e.g., e-mail address) appears compared to the total number of messages scanned. The generated list of possible owners can subsequently be used to determine/confirm the owner of the mail archive. Confirmation may be required before the data migration is completed.

  • Patent number: 9468351
Abstract: A carpet cleaning system having a single, hand-held wand and mounted on it, a pre-spray canister, a venturi tee fluidly connected thereto, and valves for directing pressurized hot water into first and/or second flow streams. Downstream of a flow-splitting tee, a single valve regulates the first flow stream; and a pair of valves, sandwiching the venturi tee, regulate the second flow stream. This pair also controls cleaning solution discharging from the pre-spray canister via the venturi tee. Positioned at the operator's fingertips are the single valve's handle and a bar for moving the paired valves' handles simultaneously, thus allowing one to momentarily turn on or off either flow stream or adjust a mix thereof. Importantly, without interrupting any steam cleaning then in progress, one can immediately reapply the cleaning solution to a stain and, as a consequence, substantially upgrade the quality of the finished carpet cleaning job.

The deterrent device is not the mobile computing device and the mobile computing device is not included in the deterrent device. At the deterrent device, a user indication to initiate a deterrent is received. An image capture device component of the deterrent device is activated to capture at least one image in response to the user indication to initiate the deterrent. At least the image is transferred, via the first wireless communications link, from the deterrent device to the mobile computing device. The mobile computing device establishes a connection via a second communication link to at least an emergency contact and at least transmits the image and user information to the emergency contact via the second communication link. In response to the user indication to initiate the deterrent, a releasing of the deterrent from the deterrent device is initiated.

  • Publication number: 20150306714
Abstract: An automated pallet checker system for checking the structural integrity of a pallet includes a conveyor arrangement mounted on a framework and operable to convey the pallet to be checked through an in-feed station and a lift station connected to the in-feed station. The in-feed station is configured to check the pallet for a presence or absence of pallet bottom cross boards as the pallet is carried on the conveyor arrangement. The lift station is also configured to check for obstructions depending from the pallet bottom cross boards, and missing material in leading and trailing edges of the pallet top cross boards during a lifting movement of the pallet in the lift station. A controller is operatively connected to the conveyor arrangement, the in-feed station and the lift station, and is responsive to signals generated in the in-feed station and the lift station to determine whether the pallet being checked in the in-feed station and the lift station is acceptable or unacceptable.
