  • Publication number: 20240169348
Abstract: Embodiments disclosed are directed to ensuring resource compliance within a cloud-based environment. The embodiments include steps for performing both pre-provisioning and post-provisioning checks of resources, such as network protocols, prior to and after their deployment within the cloud-based environment. These steps include using bitemporal analysis to determine the impact of deploying resources within the environment through the use of multiple execution timelines where the impact of deploying a resource may be evaluated on an alternative timeline that does not change the current resource scope of the cloud-based environment. The analysis may further include tracking the impact of the resource after it has been deployed to ensure resource compliance.

  • Publication number: 20240169642
Abstract: A graphics processing unit having multiple groups of processor cores for rendering graphics data for allocated tiles and outputting the processed data to regions of a memory resource. Scheduling logic allocates sets of tiles to the groups of processor cores to perform a first render, and at a time when at least one of the groups has not completed processing its allocated sets of one or more tiles as part of the first render, allocates at least one set of tiles for a second render to one of the other groups of processor cores for processing. Progress indication logic indicates progress of the first render, indicating regions of the memory resource for which processing for the first render has been completed. Progress check logic checks the progress indication in response to a request for access to a region of the memory resource as part of the second render and enables access that region of the resource in response to an indication that processing for the first render has been completed for that region.

  • Publication number: 20240169056
Abstract: In a system and method for processing computer system events asynchronously for software security operations, a computer memory is configured for a read operation by a computer process. The computer process loads, based on a first event occurring during the read operation, at least one file in the computer memory. At least one thread of the computer process is generated. An execution of the at least one thread of the computer process is delayed based on a second event occurring after the first event. A security operation is performed on the process contemporaneously with the loading of the file in the computer memory and the blocking of the execution of the at least one thread of the computer process. The process is either un-delayed on completion of the previous security operation or other security operations performed on that process.

  • Patent number: 11989523
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to chatbot systems, and more particularly, to techniques for obtaining data items for input to a chatbot. In certain embodiments, a chatbot system includes a component that can be invoked by a chatbot in the chatbot system to obtain data items needed by the chatbot. The component can be invoked based on a reference to the component in a dialog flow definition configured for the chatbot. The reference to the component can indicate a composite entity that the component will use to determine how the data items are obtained from a user. The composite entity acts as a container for the data items and may be configured separately from the dialog flow definition of the chatbot. The data items can be obtained based on rules specified in a composite entity definition configured for the composite entity.
