  • Patent number: 12087047
Abstract: Systems, methods, and other embodiments for selecting, enriching and sequencing digital media content to produce a narrative-oriented, ordered sub-collection of media such as for movie creation. The method identifies, evaluates, assesses, stores, enriches, groups, and sequences content. The method identifies the content metadata. When metadata are missing or anomalous, the method attempts to populate or correct the metadata and store that new content in the database. The method evaluates content for focus quality and may exclude content based on rules. The method assesses the content storing the people and their emotional level, animals, objects, locations, landmarks and date/time in the database. The method can then enrich the remaining content by providing map, photo, video, text, and audio content. The method uses selecting criteria for grouping and sequencing content by date, time, person, etc. and compiling the sequenced groups into the final narrative ready for distribution, e.g., movie creation.

  • Patent number: 12085281
Abstract: An engine can utilize a combustor to combust fuel to drive the engine. A fuel nozzle assembly can supply fuel to the combustor for combustion or ignition of the fuel. The fuel nozzle assembly can include a swirler and a fuel nozzle to supply a mixture of fuel and air for combustion, which can supply a primary fuel supply and a secondary fuel supply. Increasing efficiency and reducing emission require the use of alternative fuels, which combust at higher temperatures or burn at faster burn speeds than traditional fuels, requiring improved fuel introduction without the occurrence of flame holding or flashback.

  • Patent number: 12086583
Abstract: Methods and systems for monitoring use, determining risk, and pricing insurance policies for a vehicle having autonomous or semi-autonomous operation features are provided. According to certain aspects, a computer-implemented method for generating or updating usage-based insurance policies for autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicles may be provided. A request to generate an insurance quote may be received via wireless communication, and with the customer's permission, risk levels associated with intended usage by the customer of an autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicle may be determined. An insurance policy may be adjusted based upon the risk levels and the intended vehicle usage. The insurance policy may then be presented on the customer's mobile device for review and approval. In some aspects, the vehicle may be rented, and the intended vehicle usage is measured in distance or duration of vehicle operation. Insurance discounts may be provided to risk averse vehicle owners based upon low risk levels.

  • Publication number: 20240295961
Abstract: An integrated circuit (IC) memory device includes an array of storage cells configured into multiple banks. Interface circuitry receives refresh commands from a host memory controller to refresh the multiple banks for a first refresh mode. On-die refresh control circuitry selectively generates local refresh commands to refresh the multiple banks in cooperation with the host memory controller during a designated hidden refresh interval in a second refresh mode. Mode register circuitry stores a value indicating whether the on-die refresh control circuitry is enabled for use during the second refresh mode. The interface circuitry includes backchannel control circuitry to transmit a corrective action control signal during operation in the second refresh mode.

  • Publication number: 20240285199
Abstract: A continuous glucose monitoring system may utilize externally sourced information regarding the physiological state and ambient environment of its user for externally calibrating sensor glucose measurements. Externally sourced factory calibration information may be utilized, where the information is generated by comparing metrics obtained from the data used to generate the sensor's glucose sensing algorithm to similar data obtained from each batch of sensors to be used with the algorithm in the future. The output sensor glucose value of a glucose sensor may also be estimated by analytically optimizing input sensor signals to accurately correct for changes in sensitivity, run-in time, glucose current dips, and other variable sensor wear effects.

  • Publication number: 20240286316
Abstract: A heat exchange system includes a housing, a cover, and a sealing mechanism. The housing includes an outer side, an inner side opposite the outer side, a supply channel on the inner side, an exit channel on the inner side, and a plurality of fins on the inner side. The plurality of fins define a plurality of transverse channels. Each transverse provides fluid communication between the supply channel and the exit channel. The cover covers the inner side of the housing. The sealing mechanism compresses the cover and the housing such that a seal is formed between the cover and the housing.

  • Patent number: 12074552
Abstract: A dual encoder system includes first and second encoders on a single printed circuit board mounted on an electric motor. Each encoder independently generates feedback information used by motor and safety controllers for controlling the motor. A single magnet is mounted on the motor shaft. The first encoder cooperates with the magnet to provide first encoder information to the motor controller regarding magnetic alignment between a rotor and a plurality of stator windings of the motor and regarding real-time position and velocity. The second encoder cooperates with the same magnet to provide second encoder information to a safety controller, wherein the second encoder information should be identical to the first. The safety controller may receive the first encoder information from the motor controller, compare the second encoder information to the first encoder information, and brake the electric motor if the second encoder information is different from the first encoder information.

  • Patent number: 12074849
Abstract: The subject disclosure provides systems and methods for application-specific network data filtering. Application-specific network data filtering may be performed by a sandboxed process prior to providing the network data to an application to which the network data is directed. Any malicious or otherwise potentially harmful data that is included in the network data may be removed by the application-specific network data filter or may be allowed to corrupt the application specific network data filtering operations within the sandbox, thereby preventing the malicious or harmful data from affecting the application or other portions of an electronic device. In one or more implementations, a first process such as an application-specific network data filtering process may request allocation of memory for the first process from second process, such as an application, that is separate from a memory manager of the electronic device.

  • Publication number: 20240281262
Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods that provide a novel framework for programmatically modifying device capabilities of devices within a location-monitoring system to create unique, specifically configured host-client device connections to effectuate monitoring of the location. The disclosed framework can effectuate modifications of devices to alter their type of device operational capabilities—a host device can be configured to operate as a client and/or a host-proxy for another host, and a client device and be configured to operate as a host, and the like. The disclosed framework enables devices to be programmed such that non-native capabilities are provided to devices that modify how they operate within a monitoring system, as well as how they interact with other devices within such system.

  • Publication number: 20240274234
Abstract: Systems and methods for pathogenic genetic sequence identification are provided. A sample of genetic material may be sequenced by a sequencing system. The genetic sequence may be filtered based on sequences designated as not being of interest. Such filtering may yield a filtered sequence subset, which may be compared to sequences that are designated as being of interest. One or more portions of the filtered sequence may be identified as matching the sequences of interest within a predetermined threshold for the sample. Data regarding the matching portions may further be compressed and securely stored in memory. Access to the securely stored data may be limited to authorized persons as defined by applicable rules and policies.
