  • Publication number: 20240274181
Abstract: The internal row addressing of each DRAM on a module is mapped such that row hammer affects different neighboring row addresses in each DRAM. Because the external row address to internal row address mapping scheme ensures that each set of neighboring rows for a given externally addressed row is different for each DRAM on the module, row hammering of a given externally addressed row spreads the row hammering errors across different externally addressed rows on each DRAM. This has the effect of confining the row hammer errors for each row that is hammered to a single DRAM per externally addressed neighboring row. By confining the row hammer errors to a single DRAM, the row hammer errors are correctible using a single device data correct (SDDC) scheme.

  • Patent number: 12061729
Abstract: An encryption interface provides secure, low-latency communications between processors. A first processor block transforms initial data into encrypted data using a cipher for receipt by a second processor block, which transforms the encrypted data into decrypted data. The first processor block utilized a crypto circuit having a plurality of stages, each of which generate a subset of a cipher digit stream for encrypting the data. The second processor block receives and decrypts the encrypted data using a respective decryption circuit.

  • Publication number: 20240256260
Abstract: According to certain aspects, a computer-implemented method for operating an autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicle may be provided. With the customer's permission, an identity of a vehicle operator may be identified and a vehicle operator profile may be retrieved. Operating data regarding autonomous operation features operating the vehicle may be received from vehicle-mounted sensors. When a request to disable an autonomous feature is received, a risk level for the autonomous feature is determined and compared with a driver behavior setting for the autonomous feature stored in the vehicle operator profile. Based upon the risk level comparison, the autonomous vehicle retains control of vehicle or the autonomous feature is disengaged depending upon which is the safer driver—the autonomous vehicle or the vehicle human occupant. As a result, unsafe disengagement of self-driving functionality for autonomous vehicles may be alleviated.

  • Patent number: 12051579
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for performing charge detection mass spectrometry for measurement of the mass of a single ion of interest are disclosed. The ion of interest is caused to undergo harmonic oscillatory movement in the trapping field of an electrostatic trap, such that an image current detector generates a time-varying signal representative of the ion's oscillatory movement. This time-varying signal (transient) is processed (e.g., via a Fourier transform) to derive the ion's frequency and consequently determine the ion's mass-to-charge ratio (m/z). Ion charge is determined by construction of a Selective Temporal Overview of Resonant Ion (STORI) plot, which tracks the temporal evolution of signals attributable to the ion of interest, and where the slope of the STORI plot is related to the charge. The STORI plot may also be employed to identify ion decay events during transient acquisition and/or the presence of multiple ions of the same mass or non-resolvable ions.

  • Publication number: 20240248708
Abstract: Methods and systems for monitoring use, determining risk, and pricing insurance policies for a vehicle having one or more autonomous or semi-autonomous operation features are provided. According to certain aspects, an identity of a vehicle operator may be determined and a vehicle operator profile and/or operating data regarding autonomous operation features of the vehicle may be received after the vehicle operator opts into a rewards program and agrees to share their data. Autonomous operation and vehicle operator risk levels associated with operation of the autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicle may be determined. Based upon the risk levels and/or comparison thereof, one or more autonomous operation features may he disengaged. A preparedness level of the vehicle operator to assume or reassume control of operating the vehicle is determined prior to disengagement. If satisfactory, an alert is presented to the vehicle operator prior to disengagement of the autonomous operation features.

  • Publication number: 20240241670
Abstract: An interconnected stack of one or more Dynamic Random Access Memory (DRAM) die has a base logic die and one or more custom logic or processor die. The processor logic die snoops commands sent to and through the stack. In particular, the processor logic die may snoop mode setting commands (e.g., mode register set—MRS commands). At least one mode setting command that is ignored by the DRAM in the stack is used to communicate a command to the processor logic die. In response the processor logic die may prevent commands, addresses, and data from reaching the DRAM die(s). This enables the processor logic die to send commands/addresses and communicate data with the DRAM die(s). While being able to send commands/addresses and communicate data with the DRAM die(s), the processor logic die may execute software using the DRAM die(s) for program and/or data storage and retrieval.

  • Patent number: 12041310
Abstract: Embodiments of the inventive concepts disclosed herein are directed to systems and methods of providing in-flight entertainment related content. A content server may upload first content to in-seat client terminals for local storage and subsequent playback. The content server may upload second content to overhead client terminals for local storage and subsequent playback. Each client terminal may synchronize to a defined reference point for initiating playback of the first content and of the second content. Each client terminal may operate independently of each other and the content server subsequent to initiation of the playback. Subsequent to the initiation of the playback and in response to a system disruption to the playback at a client terminal, the client terminal may resume the playback of the corresponding content at the client terminal at a point at which the disruption occurred. The resumption may be independent of the playback in other client terminals.
