  • Publication number: 20240387159
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for charge detection mass spectrometry cause an ion of interest to undergo harmonic oscillatory movement in the trapping field of an electrostatic trap, such that an image current detector generates a time-varying signal representative of the ion's oscillatory movement. This time-varying signal (transient) is processed (e.g., via a Fourier transform) to derive the ion's frequency and consequently determine the ion's mass-to-charge ratio (m/z). Ion charge is determined by construction of a Selective Temporal Overview of Resonant Ion (STORI) plot, which tracks the temporal evolution of signals attributable to the ion of interest, and where the slope of the STORI plot is related to the charge. The STORI plot may also be employed to identify ion decay events during transient acquisition and/or the presence of multiple ions of the same mass or non-resolvable ions.

  • Publication number: 20240380735
Abstract: The subject disclosure provides systems and methods for application-specific network data filtering. Application-specific network data filtering may be performed by a sandboxed process prior to providing the network data to an application to which the network data is directed. Any malicious or otherwise potentially harmful data that is included in the network data may be removed by the application-specific network data filter or may be allowed to corrupt the application specific network data filtering operations within the sandbox, thereby preventing the malicious or harmful data from affecting the application or other portions of an electronic device. In one or more implementations, a first process such as an application-specific network data filtering process may request allocation of memory for the first process from second process, such as an application, that is separate from a memory manager of the electronic device.

  • Publication number: 20240370361
Abstract: Multiple (e.g., four) memory devices on a module are connected to a common pair of differential data strobe signal conductors. The common pair of differential data strobe conductors are also coupled to a memory controller to time the transmission of data to the multiple memory devices and to time the reception of data from the memory devices. The controller calibrates two or more different data transmission delays relative to its transmission of a write data strobe signal on the common pair of differential data strobe conductors. The controller also calibrates to account for two or more different data reception delays (skew) relative to its reception of a read data strobe signal on the common pair of differential data strobe conductors.

  • Publication number: 20240370331
Abstract: A random access memory device includes memory cells in each row for storing metadata related to accesses to that row. These metadata dedicated memory cells may store counter values that may be updated (e.g., incremented or decremented) when certain events occur (e.g., activate row—ACT, column read—CAS, error detected, etc.). Which events cause an update of the metadata stored in a row, and under what conditions related to the metadata/count value (e.g., threshold, match, threshold value, etc.) cause further action to be taken (e.g., alert controller, set mode register, etc.) are configurable by a controller. Additional functions related to the metadata/counters are also configurable such as scanning counter values to determine the row address with highest or lowest value and pattern matching (e.g., process identification match/mismatch).

  • Patent number: 12131515
Abstract: A system and method for real-time image transformation monitoring for a display unit receives, via a pixel buffer, pixels of source image data and appends fiducial data to each pixel, the fiducial data corresponding to a reference checksum associated with a transformation map for one or more transformations of the source image into an output image for display. When source image data is read out of the pixel buffer, e.g., as a sequence of pixel datasets, an image transformation monitor extracts the fiducial data appended to each dataset and incorporates each set of extracted fiducial data into a checksum calculation for the current source image. When the transformed output image is complete, the cumulative checksum calculation for the current source image is compared to the reference checksum, determining a system status or detecting a system fault based on whether or not the checksum calculation and reference calculation are equivalent.
