  • Patent number: 10529073
Abstract: A method for determining virtual articulation from dental scans. The method includes receiving digital 3D models of a person's maxillary and mandibular arches, and digital 3D models of a plurality of different bite poses of the arches. The digital 3D models of the maxillary and mandibular arches are registered with the bite poses to generate transforms defining spatial relationships between the arches for the bite poses. Based upon the digital 3D models and transforms, the method computes a pure rotation axis representation for each bite pose of the mandibular arch with respect to the maxillary arch. The virtual articulation can be used in making restorations or for diagnostic purposes.

  • Patent number: 10510545
Abstract: Embodiments described herein generally relate to enable the formation of a metal gate structure with a reduced effective oxide thickness over a similar structure formed via conventional methods. A plasma hydrogenation process followed by a plasma nitridization process, or a single-step plasma hydrogenation and nitridization process, is performed on a metal nitride layer in a film stack, thereby, according to some embodiments, removing oxygen atoms disposed within layers of the film stack and, in some embodiments, adding nitrogen atoms to the layers of the film stack. As a result, an effective oxide thickness of the metal gate structure is reduced with little or no accompanying flatband voltage shift.

  • Patent number: 10509806
Abstract: Techniques are described for receiving data generated by multiple platforms of different types, and determining recommendations for end-user(s) of the multiple platforms based on an analysis of the received data. An end-user may interact with multiple individual platforms of different types. The individual platforms may generate data describing, and/or resulting from, such interactions. The data may be received, ingested, stored, analyzed, and/or otherwise processed by a super-platform. The data may be aggregated and the data and/or aggregate data may be analyzed by a recommendation engine executing on the super-platform to determine one or more recommendations for a particular end-user based on an analysis of the data and/or aggregate data associated with that end-user. Such recommendation(s) may be provided to the end-user through an end-user interface and/or search engine provided by the super-platform, or through a third-party entity.

  • Publication number: 20190369486
Abstract: An apparatus and method for a dispenser with nozzles configured to eject lines of droplets of formable material onto a substrate in response to ejection signals. The fluid dispenser dispenses a first line of ejected droplets of formable material onto a first location on the substrate. A line camera generates camera signals that are representative of the first line of ejected droplets. The camera signals are analyzed to identify malfunctioning nozzles. The fluid dispenser dispenses a second line of ejected droplets of formable material onto a second location on the substrate that compensates for the one or more malfunctioning nozzles.
