  • Publication number: 20250022203
Abstract: The present invention sets forth a technique for performing automated motion adaptation in an animated sequence. The technique includes generating a set of one or more motion sequences based on motion capture data and selecting one of the set of motion sequences based on a score function value. The technique also includes adapting the selected motion sequence such that the adapted motion sequence, when applied to an animation character model, causes the animation character model to move from a specified starting position associated with the animation character to a specified goal position associated with the animation character.

  • Patent number: 12190367
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention relate to a computer-implemented method and system for generating personalized recommendations for a target user based at least on stored data about the target user. The method comprises obtaining, at the server computer, data from a plurality of data sources, including entity data associated with a plurality of entities, stored in an entity database, or personal data associated with a plurality of users, stored in a user database. The personalized recommendations system then merges the entity data or personal data and maps the entity or personal data to a corresponding entity or target user, respectively. The entity or personal data is differentiated, a relevance is determined, a weight is assigned to the data and corresponding source to canonicalize the data, the respective databases are updated with the corresponding data, and then a set of personalized recommendations to the target user is generated using the updated databases.

  • Publication number: 20240360400
Abstract: A microwell array specifically designed for culturing organoids is provided along with a system to enable automated imaging, identification, and isolation of individual organoids. The microwells of the microarray include a releasable cellraft that enables the automated release and transfer of selected organoids present on the cellrafts to a separate collection plate. Organoids grown on the microarray can be reliably tracked, imaged, and phenotypically analyzed by the instrument system in brightfield and fluorescence as they grow over time, then released and transferred fully intact for use in downstream applications. The use of the system is demonstrated using mouse hepatic and pancreatic organoids for single-organoid imaging, clonal organoid generation, parent organoid subcloning, and single-organoid RNA extraction for downstream gene expression or transcriptomic analysis.

  • Publication number: 20240319574
Abstract: Image contrast of a projected image on a screen can be adjusted by configuring a lens aperture element in a projector. A projector can be set in a theatre to emit projected light representing the projected image onto the screen. The projected image can be projected onto the screen in the theatre such that a light level of the projected light is at a target light level. The lens aperture element in a projection lens of the projector can be configured to change an image contrast of the projected image. In response to inserting the lens aperture element, a setting for a light emitter in the projector can be adjusted such that the light level of the projected light is at the target light level.
