  • Publication number: 20250002679
Abstract: The disclosure provides a thermally stable melt processable thermoset polymer composition including at least one melt processable thermoset polymer, such as an epoxy, and at least one reinforcing filler, such as carbon nanotubes. Such compositions when 3D printed, exhibit improved Z-layer adhesion and modulus at melt temperature, a common related additive manufacturing problem, as compared to thermoset polymers without reinforcing filler and more conventional thermoplastic resin systems. Subsequent actinic cure of such compositions irreversibly and permanently cures the material thereby making it no longer melt processable.

  • Patent number: 12181089
Abstract: A sprinkler with a push-in connection includes a sprinkler frame, an operating element, and a sealing cap. The sprinkler also includes one or more sealing gaskets and a retainer. Each such sealing gasket is located at least partially within a groove in the sprinkler frame. The retainer is also at least partially located within a groove in the sprinkler frame. The retainer connects to an internal bore of an outlet of a fluid supply conduit when the sprinkler is installed in the outlet. The one or more gaskets seal against the internal bore of the outlet when the sprinkler is installed in the outlet. The retainer is a spring mechanism so that the diameter of the retainer is reduced when the sprinkler is inserted into the internal bore of the outlet, and the retainer maintains pressure against the outlet internal bore.

  • Publication number: 20240421424
Abstract: A battery exhaust vent includes an expanded metal filter which acts as a heat sink to cool an overheating battery. The exhaust vent acts as a particulate filter and flame arrestor which reduces flames and particulate slag projectiles from being expelled outside a battery housing. Directional Flow Expanded Metal (DFEM) and Variable Expanded Metal (VEM) are utilized for their directional fins and associated plethora of openings offset in overlapping layers to create a cyclone effect for gases or particles passing through the filter. The fins and holes are offset from layer to layer within a multi-layer filter construction and are designed to immediately change the direction of the flames and burning particles relative to the input flame flow direction. The vent may include an elastomeric umbrella valve which seals the vent from external airflow but allows quick venting for internal gas pressure during a runaway event or excessive heating.

  • Publication number: 20240407836
Abstract: Devices, systems and methods are provided for treating conditions of the heart, particularly the occurrence of arrhythmias, more particularly atrial fibrillation. Therapeutic pulsed electric field energy is delivered to portions the heart to provide tissue modification, particularly to the entrances to the pulmonary veins in the treatment of atrial fibrillation. Such tissue modification creates a lesion or series of lesions which act as a conduction block within the tissue to prevent the transmission of aberrant electrical signals. Cardiovascular lesion analysis systems and methods provide information related to the effectiveness of the treatment during the procedure so as to create an electrical blockade within the heart that will remain durable and effective long-term.

  • Patent number: 12167076
Abstract: A client device accesses a video input stream from an intermediate device for display. The client device analyzes the video input stream to determine that the video input stream matches a template corresponding to a screen portion. Based on the video input stream matching the template, a video output stream is generated and caused to be presented on a display. In some example embodiments, the analysis is performed while the client device is replacing video content received from a content source via the intermediate device. For example, commercials transmitted from a national content provider to a smart TV via a set-top box may be replaced with targeted commercials. During the replacement, menus generated by the set-top box may be detected and the replacement video altered by the smart TV to include the menus.
