  • Patent number: 7740258
Abstract: A trailer slider assembly includes a handle that moves a trailer slider locking mechanism between an unlocked position and a locked position. A suspension side rail has a retaining feature that holds the handle in the unlocked position. A release mechanism releases the handle from the retaining feature in response to a release of a parking brake. This prevents a vehicle from driving off with the trailer slider locking mechanism in the unlocked position.

  • Patent number: 7736318
Abstract: The monitoring device incorporates transducing devices for converting the desired measured parameters into electrical signals capable of being processed by a local computer or microprocessor system. The device interacts with the ambulatory patient and then, via a modem or other electronic communication device, transmits the measured parameters to a computer located at a remote site. At the remote location. the various indicia of the ambulatory patient's condition are monitored and analyzed by the medical professional caregiver. To provide the ambulatory patient with an added level of convenience and ease of use, such monitoring device is contained in a single integrated package.

  • Publication number: 20090157594
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention may be used to produce a data mining signal by generating hybrid dataset representing data related to tools used during a semiconductor fabrication process. By selectively combining similar processes, the data mining signal strength of each tool used to perform the steps of the fabrication process may be increased. A combined process variable may be used to represent the group of tools and processes, collectively. A set of rules may be composed to determine which processes used in the semiconductor fabrication process should be combined in the hybrid dataset.

Abstract: An improved battery-powered credential reader, which may be used in security and other applications, includes include a micro-power proximity detector. The micro-power proximity detector is configured to lengthen battery life by reducing power consumption requirements of the credential reader during periods when no credential is present. An antenna formed about a perimeter of a printed circuit board is configured to propagate an electrostatic sense field adjacent to and through the credential reader using only microamps of electrical current. A control circuit of the micro-power proximity detector is configured to activate the credential reader from a “sleep” state when a disturbance in the electrostatic sense field caused by a credential is detected and/or registered.

  • Patent number: 7497293
Abstract: An interlock for a slider incorporates a cover that moves between a covered position and an uncovered position. In the covered position, the cover prevents access and movement of a handle for actuating locking pins on the slider. The cover may be pivoted to an uncovered position at which the handle can be actuated. Generally, the handle is pulled away from a trailer frame for the slider to move the locking pins out of holes in the trailer frame. When the cover has moved away from the covered position, the cover actuates a valve member that sets at least one park brake. To release the park brakes, the cover must be moved back to the covered position. The cover cannot be moved back to the covered position until the handle is in a position indicative of the locking pins being fully received in the holes in the trailer frame.
