  • Patent number: 10051570
Abstract: A method and apparatus for communicating system information in a wireless communication system is provided. The method comprises generating and sending by a base station, for example an eNB, a system information block (SIB) which includes at least one correlation enhancement bit. This SIB is received by the terminal, for example a MTC UE, and this SIB is subsequently correlated with a previously received SIB. Further, upon the correlation of the SIB and the previously received SIB, a determination is made whether the SIB has in fact changed. Upon determining if the SIB has changed, the terminal selects the correct SIB which is to be used for configuring communication with the base station.

  • Publication number: 20180225760
Abstract: A disclosed system, method and computer readable storage medium includes mechanism for controlling cascade price movements in an electronic trading system. Price limits control the prices at which traders can place orders. An upper price limit prevents traders from placing orders above the upper limit and a lower price limit prevents traders from placing orders below the lower limit. The gap between the upper limit and the indicative marked price as well as the gap between lower limit and the indicative market price is controlled so as to cause a breaking effect on very rapidly changing market price.

  • Patent number: 10013017
Abstract: A system and a method for controlling a vehicle with a joystick that includes implementing at least one dead band for the joystick. The dead band prevents movement of the vehicle when the joystick is within the dead band areas. The dead band areas are adjustable and take a plurality of shapes including having gaps between areas of the dead band areas. These dead bands allow for smooth operation of a vehicle by suppressing the control signal of the joystick for unintentional movements of the joystick by the operator. The adjustability of the dead band allows for adjustment based on the joystick type, the vehicle type, and the control desired.

  • Publication number: 20180174269
Abstract: A tile-based graphics system has a rendering space sub-divided into a plurality of tiles which are to be processed. Graphics data items, such as parameters or texels, are fetched into a cache for use in processing one of the tiles. Indicators are determined for the graphics data items, whereby the indicator for a graphics data item indicates the number of tiles with which that graphics data item is associated. The graphics data items are evicted from the cache in accordance with the indicators of the graphics data items. For example, the indicator for a graphics data item may be a count of the number of tiles with which that graphics data item is associated, whereby the graphics data item(s) with the lowest count(s) is (are) evicted from the cache.

  • Publication number: 20180164415
Abstract: A histogramming readout circuit is described. The readout circuit comprises a time to digital converter (TDC) configured to continually report time-stamps defining an arrival time of a laser clock and a signal output from a photosensor. Memory is provided for storing TDC events. A programmable processor is configured to implement a state machine. The state machine being operable to saves a time-stamp when a TDC event is detected; determine the time of flight of each of the photons detected by the photosensor; using each calculated time of flight to address a memory location; building up a histogram of the TDC data values using the memory locations as time-bins; maintaining a pointer to a maximum memory location where the highest number of TDC event resides. A calculator is operable to read the value of the maximum memory location and one or more adjacent time-bins either side for processing.
