For example, methods can include comprising contacting a polymer with one or more polymer-degrading fungal species, wherein the polymer comprises a polyester graft, and wherein the polymer is a polymerization product of at least a monomer selected from the group consisting of acrylates, methacrylates, and combinations thereof.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to compounds of formula (Ia) and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, pharmaceutical compositions comprising the same, methods of preparing the same, intermediate compounds useful for preparing the same, and methods for treating or prophylaxis of diseases, in particular cancer or conditions with dysregulated immune responses or other disorders associated with aberrant AHR signaling. Abstract: A diffractive waveguide device includes an optical waveguide and a diffractive element optically coupled to the optical waveguide. The diffractive element is configured to alter a polarization and propagation direction of light of a first polarization, and is configured to transmit light of a second polarization without substantially altering a polarization or propagation direction thereof. A polarizing film assembly is configured to provide the light of the second polarization to the optical waveguide, and/or is configured to block the light of the second polarization from the optical waveguide. The polarizing film assembly includes a polarizer and an optical retarder that is positioned between the polarizer and the optical waveguide. Related devices and methods of operation are also discussed.

Abstract: A method of estimating a temperature of a component of a wind turbine is provided, comprising, during a calibration period, receiving measurements of the temperature of the component and of one or more corresponding operational parameter; and calculating, using the measurements coefficients of a model of the temperature of the component. The model relates temperature at a current time to a temperature a preceding time, Tn?1. The model is segregated into separate bins based on wind speed or power generated by the wind turbine. The method further comprises using the model to estimate a temperature of the wind turbine.

Abstract: A patient interface for delivering breathable gas to a patient includes a nasal prong assembly including a pair of nasal prongs structured to sealingly communicate with nasal passages of a patient's nose in use and headgear to maintain the nasal prong assembly in a desired position on the patient's face. The headgear includes side straps and rigidizers provided to respective side straps. Each rigidizer includes a first end portion that provides a connector structured to engage a respective end of the nasal prong assembly and an inwardly curved protrusion in the form of a cheek support that curves inwardly of the connector. The cheek support is adapted to follow the contour of the patient's cheek and guide a respective end portion of the side strap into engagement with the patient's cheek to provide a stable cheek support.

A task assignment allocator is provided that is arranged to generate task assignments for each of the plurality of vehicles, including destinations in the road network for the vehicles. Channel conditions can be estimated based on a UE PRACH transmission rather than the subsequent PUSCH transmission in the first part of the two-step RACH. A variable length gap can be provided between the PRACH preamble transmission and the PUSCH transmission. Other solutions are also provided.

Abstract: A public key infrastructure (PKI) ecosystem includes a first organization computer system having a first processor, a first memory, and a first organization process including instructions that are (i) encoded in the first memory, and (ii) executable by the first processor. The ecosystem further includes a second organization computer system having a second processor and a second memory, a digital ledger, and domain name system security extensions (DNSSEC). When executed, the first instructions cause the first processor to create at least one public/private PKI keypair for a first domain name, in the DNSSEC, register the first domain name and create a certificate authority (CA), register the CA in the blockchain, using the CA, create a certificate for a first entity, register the certificate in the blockchain and/or the DNSSEC, and assert, to the second organization computer system, trust in the first entity based on the registered certificate.

Abstract: Aspects include a multistage collector to receive outputs from plural processing elements. Processing elements may comprise (each or collectively) a plurality of clusters, with one or more ALUs that may perform SIMD operations on a data vector and produce outputs according to the instruction stream being used to configure the ALU(s). The multistage collector includes substituent components each with at least one input queue, a memory, a packing unit, and an output queue; these components can be sized to process groups of input elements of a given size, and can have multiple input queues and a single output queue. Some components couple to receive outputs from the ALUs and others receive outputs from other components. Ultimately, the multistage collector can output groupings of input elements. Each grouping of elements (e.g., at input queues, or stored in the memories of component) can be formed based on matching of index elements.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for updating and optimizing task scheduling policies are disclosed. A new policy is obtained and updated at runtime by a client based on a server analyzing a wide spectrum of telemetry data on a relatively long time scale. Instead of only looking at the telemetry data from the client's execution of tasks for the previous frame, the server analyzes the execution times of tasks for multiple previous frames so as to determine a more optimal policy for subsequent frames. This mechanism enables making a more informed task scheduling policy decision as well as customizing the policy per application, game, and user without requiring a driver update. Also, this mechanism facilitates improved load balancing across the various processing engines, each of which has their own task queues. The improved load balancing is achieved by analyzing the telemetry data including resource utilization statistics for the different processing engines.
