  • Publication number: 20210097039
Abstract: Systems and methods for discovery of and planning migration for computing nodes are provided. At least one collector node is deployed at a source location network to discover data associated with computing nodes of a source infrastructure. The data is transmitted to a staging API. A migration processing API receives the discovered data from the staging API after satisfying an access control measure and writes the discovered data to a migration database. A migration planning API analyzes the discovered data written to the migration database by applying a criticality algorithm to determine a criticality parameter associated with each of the computing nodes. The criticality parameter identifies a potential impact that each computing node has to migration. The migration planning API automatically groups the computing nodes into migration pods, prioritizes the migration pods based on the criticality parameters, and generates a plan for migrating the migration pods to a target infrastructure.

  • Patent number: 10963802
Abstract: A computing device selects decision variable values. A lower boundary value and an upper boundary value is defined for a decision variable. (A) A plurality of decision variable configurations is determined using a search method. The value for the decision variable is between the lower boundary value and the upper boundary value. (B) A decision variable configuration is selected. (C) A model of the model type is trained using the decision variable configuration. (D) The model is scored to compute an objective function value. (E) The computed objective function value and the selected decision variable configuration are stored. (F) (B) through (E) is repeated for a plurality of decision variable configurations. (G) The lower boundary value and the upper boundary value are updated using the objective function value and the decision variable configuration stored. Repeat (A)-(F) with the lower boundary value and the upper boundary value updated in (G).

  • Patent number: 10929581
Abstract: The accuracy of electronic design automation is increased by determining whether fill wires in a putative integrated circuit design should be effectively grounded or floating. For each signal wire in the putative design adjacent to the fill wires, a signal sensitivity value, which represents sensitivity of a given one of the plurality of signal wires to noise and timing, is determined. For each one of the fill wires, a fill sensitivity value is determined by: identifying coupling of each one of the fill wires to the adjacent signal wires; and calculating the fill sensitivity value as a combination of the signal sensitivity values of each of the adjacent signal wires for which the coupling has been identified. At least a portion of the fill wires are selectively effectively grounded based on the fill sensitivity value, to obtain a modified design.
