Publication number: 20060052030Abstract: A generally spherical toy, such as a ball, having one or more features or characteristics formed on its surface such that when it is rolled on a surface, the features impart a generally erratic motion to the toy. The weight of the toy, as well as the center of gravity, can also be manipulated to further impart erratic movement to the toy. The invention also includes a method of collecting and/or trading one or more of a plurality of generally spherical toys each having one or more features or characteristics formed on its surface. In furtherance of the method of collecting and/or trading, it is also contemplated that the packaging of the generally spherical toys can include one or more compartments that conceal the identity of one or more of the toys in the package, so as to promote the random nature of their distribution.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 28, 2005Publication date: March 9, 2006Inventors: Steven Rehkemper, Ronald Swanson

Publication number: 20050233792Abstract: A sequencing game is provided with a housing and a microprocessor disposed within the housing. A plurality of manually operable controls are affixed to the housing and are in communication with the microprocessor. The microprocessor generates and sensorially renders a sequence of events, wherein each event is related to one of the manually operable controls. Each manually operable control is externally acutable by a participant for responding to said sequence of signals. The microprocessor further compares the participant's response to said sequence of events for determining the correctness of the participant's response. The difficultly of the game is increased with a motor that drives wheels which move the game while the sequence of events are being sensorially rendered.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 16, 2004Publication date: October 20, 2005Applicant: Rehco, LLCInventors: Jeffrey Rehkemper, Steven Rehkemper

Patent number: 6793551Abstract: A doll in combination with a toy toilet the doll having a reservoir contained within the torso that can be filled with liquid through a mouth. The reservoir is in communication with a nozzle having an orifice which is sealable with a magnetic valve assembly. The magnetic valve assembly is defined by a hollow valve housing with a top portion secured to the bottom section of the reservoir, a central opening in the top portion, and longitudinal grooves on the inside surface of the housing. A magnetic piston is slidably received within the valve housing, however, the longitudinal grooves permit liquid within the reservoir to travel past the magnetic piston. A valve ball is secured to the magnetic piston, and a spring positioned within the valve housing biases the magnetic piston out of the valve housing such that the valve ball creates a fluid tight seal against the nozzle sealing the orifice, preventing liquid from exiting the doll.Type: GrantFiled: October 7, 2003Date of Patent: September 21, 2004Assignee: Rehco, LLCInventors: Steven Rehkemper, Amparo Zacarias

Patent number: 6758716Abstract: In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a dancing figure that includes a body defined by a torso, a head, and a pair of arms, and a pair of legs pivotally attached to the torso at a hip region. Each leg includes at least an upper leg section pivotally attached to a lower leg section at a knee region. Also included therewith is a pair of oversized feet adapted to provide support such that the figure is free-standing. The pair of oversized feet is separately and pivotally attached to one of the lower leg sections at an ankle region. Each foot houses a foot mechanism for independently pivoting the lower leg sections forwards and backwards at said ankle region, wherein the pivoting at said ankle regions causes pivoting motion at the knee regions and hip region to simulate animated movement in the figure. In addition thereto the foot mechanism may independently twist the foot to the left and right.Type: GrantFiled: March 6, 2003Date of Patent: July 6, 2004Assignee: Rehco, L.L.C.Inventors: Steven Rehkemper, Michael Kass, Jackson Wilson

Patent number: 6739782Abstract: A handheld portable oral cleaning device that includes a refillable internal bladder, which a user is able to fill with a liquid. The bladder is preferably an expandable but resilient latex rubber. One end of the bladder is accessible to the user, such that the user may fill the bladder with a liquid, such as water from a faucet. As the bladder fills with water it expands and exerts a pressure on the water as the bladder has a tendency to return to its original unfilled form. The pressurized water may then be sprayed out of the oral cleaning device to assist in cleaning the user's mouth.Type: GrantFiled: March 17, 2003Date of Patent: May 25, 2004Assignee: Rehco, L.L.C.Inventors: Steven Rehkemper, Peter Greenley

Patent number: 6695672Abstract: In one embodiment of the present invention there is provided a toy figure having a circuit board to store audio outputs, a speaker to emit the audio outputs, and the ability to activate the playback of the audio outputs. The figure includes a motor mechanism along with the ability to move or pivot the figure's head and/or an appendage attached to the figure. A plurality of switches are positioned about the figure; each switch when triggered, activates controls to move the figure and activates the playback of audio outputs that are incomprehensible to a user. The figure also includes a proximity sensor that is triggered when the figure is in close proximity to an object. When the proximity sensor is triggered, the circuit board is activated to control the movement of the figure and to playback audio outputs that are in a language understandable by the user and played at a low tone such that the user is inclined to move the figure towards the user's ear.Type: GrantFiled: May 20, 2003Date of Patent: February 24, 2004Assignee: Rehco, LLCInventors: Steven Rehkemper, Dennis O'Patka, Mike Kass

Patent number: 6689078Abstract: In accordance with one embodiment of the present invention, an oral cleaning device is provided with a nozzle to jet a pressurized liquid. The oral cleaning device has a body, a neck extending from the body and a head attached to the neck. The oral cleaning device further includes a refillable reservoir defined by the body for holding a liquid. An on-board pump is used to pressurize the liquid contained in the reservoir. The oral cleaning device further includes a channel from the reservoir to the nozzle in the head such that when pressurized fluid in the reservoir is released, the fluid jets from the oral cleaning device. The head and neck assembly is also interchangeable with other head and neck assemblies to provide different cleaning features. First, the nozzle by itself to remove plaque and to simulate flossing between teeth. Second, the nozzle with bristles and the head shaped to brush teeth. Third, the nozzle with bristles and the head shaped to brush a tongue.Type: GrantFiled: December 10, 2002Date of Patent: February 10, 2004Assignee: Rehco, LLCInventors: Steven Rehkemper, Jeffrey Rehkemper, Peter Greenley

Patent number: 6685530Abstract: In accordance with one embodiment of the present invention there is provided a toy figure having a circuit board to store pre-recorded sounds, a speaker to emit the pre-recorded sounds, and a means to activate the playback of said pre-recorded sounds. The figure also includes a plurality of sensors separately positioned about the figure at specific locations; each sensor when triggered activates the playback of pre-recorded sounds indicative of the location. A first arm having a hand attached thereto includes a magnet that when in proximity to one of the sensors triggers said sensor, whereby a user moving the hand with the magnet to a location on the figure containing a sensor, the figure plays pre-recorded sounds indicative of the location.Type: GrantFiled: February 24, 2003Date of Patent: February 3, 2004Assignee: Rehco, LLCInventors: Steven Rehkemper, Dan Bryce, Dennis O'Patka
