  • Publication number: 20250078664
Abstract: A method and system for determining and displaying a turn to a heading entry for an aircraft has been developed. First, a preliminary heading selection and a preliminary turn direction are entered into an automated flight control system (AFCS) for an aircraft. The preliminary heading selection and the preliminary turn direction are displayed to a pilot of the aircraft. A subsequent heading selection is entered into the AFCS while the aircraft is engaged in turning to the preliminary heading selection in the preliminary turn direction. A shortest turn radius to the subsequent heading selection is determined. A determination is made if the shortest turn radius to the subsequent heading selection is the same direction and the preliminary turn direction and a notice is displayed to the pilot of the aircraft is the shortest turn radius to the subsequent heading selection is not the same direction and the preliminary turn direction.

  • Publication number: 20250054395
Abstract: One or more datalink labels are displayed on a shared panel of a user interface. The datalink labels are generated in response to receiving a datalink message from at least one ground station. Upon receiving a selection of the datalink label, one or more sub-panels that include information or a representation of the datalink message are displayed on the user interface. In some embodiments, the sub-panel includes a button that, when selected, automatically generates a response message. Utilizing datalink labels in conjunction with the shared panel simplifies datalink messaging and enables messaging functions to be completed on the same screen regardless of which application (or function of an application) is currently displayed on the user interface.

  • Publication number: 20240358646
Abstract: A process for preparing a polymer-coated hard shell capsule can be performed. The hard shell capsule has a body and a cap. In the closed state the cap overlaps the body either in a pre-locked state or in a final-locked state. The hard shell capsule is provided in the pre-locked state and coated with a coating solution, suspension or dispersion that has at least one polymer; at least one glidant; at least one emulsifier; optionally at least one plasticizer; optionally at least one biologically active ingredient; and optionally at least one additive, different from the above. The process is used to obtain a coated, preferably only at the outer surface, hard shell capsule in the pre-locked state, wherein the coating solution, suspension or dispersion has a surface tension of at most 38 mN/m. The polymer-coated hard shell capsule obtained from the process is used for immediate, delayed or sustained release.

  • Patent number: 12080175
Abstract: To facilitate improved Controller-Pilot Data Link Communication (CPDLC) interfacing, report messages can be automatically armed and displayed in a threaded message format in the same message panel with other CPDLC messages between a vehicle and a ground system. Upon determining that a report is needed based on an uplink CPDLC message from the ground system, a report message label is displayed on the CPDLC message panel. Once the report is ready, it is automatically armed and the report message label indicates to the operator that the report message is ready to be sent. The operator can also select the report message label in the message panel to display the report message.
