  • Publication number: 20220234190
Abstract: A storage case includes a base including a lower surface, walls extending from the lower surface, and a plurality of recesses arranged in a grid adjacent the lower surface. The lower surface and the walls define a cavity, and each recess has a double bayonet shape defining a partially circular shape with a pair of bayonet channels. The storage case further includes a peg positioned within the cavity and having an elongated body configured to support a tool accessory. The elongated body has a first end and a second end opposite the first end, and the first end includes a bayonet projection. • Publication number: 20220134451
Abstract: A cutter and a kit. The cutter, such as a close quarters cutter, is operable to cut a work piece extending along an axis and includes a cutting wheel, a roller, and a housing assembly supporting the cutting wheel and the roller for movement about the axis in a cutting direction to cut the work piece. The housing assembly has a generally cylindrical outer surface engageable by a user to pivot the cutter about the axis. A grip portion is provided on the outer surface and includes a plurality of grip members. Each grip member includes, relative to the cutting direction, a trailing surface and a leading surface extending from the outer surface. The leading surface may be angled toward the cutting direction.

  • Publication number: 20220111495
Abstract: A pipe wrench includes a head having a first aperture defining a central axis. The pipe wrench includes a first jaw coupled to the head having a plurality of teeth defining a first contact region, and a second jaw partially extending through the aperture of the head having a threaded portion and a plurality of teeth defining a second contact region. The second contact region extends beyond the first contact region in a direction parallel to side surfaces of the head. The pipe wrench includes a biasing mechanism located within the first aperture to align the threaded portion of the second jaw with the central axis of the first aperture, and an actuator having threads engaged with the threaded portion of the second jaw such that rotation of the actuator moves the second contact region of the second jaw relative to the first contact region of the first jaw.

  • Publication number: 20220061445
Abstract: A hard hat with symmetric front and back mounting ridges to support a headlamp is described. The hard hat provides mounting ridges to receive insertion slots of a rigid mounting bracket that fit around the ridges. The rigid mounting bracket includes channels to loop a strap through the channels and support a lamp on the bracket. The strap may include a hook and loop fastener system to enable attachment of a variety of lamps to the rigid support bracket. In this way, the hard hat can support a wide variety of headlamps attached to the rigid mounting bracket without destructive alterations to the hard hat. Clips may be added to the rigid mounting bracket to secure or lock the bracket in place during operation and prevent accidental knocks or jarring of the headlamp.

  • Publication number: 20220052500
Abstract: A crimping tool, for attaching at least one wire to a connector, includes a housing, a first handle coupled to the housing, and a second handle coupled to the housing and movable relative to the first handle. The crimping tool also includes a working head coupled to the housing opposite the first and second handles. The working head includes an upper wall, an end wall, and a gap defined between the upper wall and the end wall. The crimping tool also includes a punch assembly slidable along the working head toward the end wall in response to movement of the second handle toward the first handle. The punch assembly is visible through the gap as the punch assembly slides toward the end wall.

  • Publication number: 20220023959
Abstract: A hole saw including a plurality of sidewall openings is provided. The sidewall openings are shaped and grouped in patterns that improve debris ejection of the hole saw and that allow for easy access to the interior of the hole saw for manual debris removal by the user. The opening groups are space from each other by larger uninterrupted areas such that the hole saw has a high strength despite the number and size of openings provided in the saw sidewall.
