  • Patent number: 12371135
Abstract: A cassette assembly is disclosed attachable to an end portion of a waterborne vessel including a cassette section to bear against an external structure in use. The cassette section is movable relative to the vessel in a direction towards an opposite end of the vessel. A resilient buffer system counters movement of the cassette section when the vessel is moved towards the external structure, wherein the resilient buffer system includes a fluid-operated buffer. A waterborne vessel includes a receiving portion for receiving the cassette assembly, and can be used to service a water-accessible structure such as a wind turbine.

  • Patent number: 12369738
Abstract: A curtain is suitable for use in a hospital, patient facilities or surgical setting. The curtain is slideably attached along a ceiling track. A top edge of the curtain may be attached to the ceiling track by a number of pulleys each of which may be utilized to lower the top edge of curtain to a height which is conveniently accessible to someone standing on the floor of the room to remove and/or replace the curtain. In some embodiments of this invention, the curtain has a top portion joined to a bottom portion by a zipper. The pulleys lower the curtain for someone to easily access the zipper to remove, replace and/or attach the bottom portion from/to the top portion. In other embodiments, the pulleys lower the entire curtain for removal and replacement.

  • Patent number: 12370348
Abstract: An integrated vascular delivery system having a frame configured to receive a catheter insertable in a patient to deliver fluid at an insertion site. The frame includes a first hub, a second hub, and a pair of flexible lateral members extending between the hubs and including a tubular lateral member. The system also includes a fluidic channel that fluidically communicates with the catheter, wherein the fluidic channel passes through the tubular lateral member and at least one of the hubs, and includes a fixed turnabout portion in which fluid flows in a direction different from that within the catheter. The first and second hubs provide anchoring points on the patient distributed around the insertion site and on opposite ends of the catheter, thereby anchoring the frame to the patient and stabilizing the catheter. A method is provided for using an integrated vascular delivery system.

  • Patent number: 12369901
Abstract: Devices and methods for securing a tissue anchor in tissue of a patient, in particular to ensure proper deployment of a cardiac tissue anchor by regulating the force or pressure of a deployment tool against the tissue. One way to ensure proper deployment force is to visualize the distal end of the tissue anchoring catheter from outside the body using a display for an imaging sensor, where the distal end of the catheter changes configuration when it is pressed against the tissue. Another method involves automatically regulating the pressure applied to the tissue prior to deployment of the tissue anchor, which may also be used in conjunction with visualization. Several safety locks to prevent deployment of the tissue anchor prior to establishment of the proper pressure are disclosed, which again may be used with visualization and/or an automated pressure regulator.

  • Publication number: 20250238162
Abstract: In an embodiment, a system may support programmable hashing of address bits at a plurality of levels of granularity to map memory addresses to memory controllers and ultimately at least to memory devices. The hashing may be programmed to distribute pages of memory across the memory controllers, and consecutive blocks of the page may be mapped to physically distant memory controllers. In an embodiment, address bits may be dropped from each level of granularity, forming a compacted pipe address to save power within the memory controller. In an embodiment, a memory folding scheme may be employed to reduce the number of active memory devices and/or memory controllers in the system when the full complement of memory is not needed.

  • Publication number: 20250235837
Abstract: A high-shear mixing chamber is provided having a single wide slot microchannel that enables a higher throughput, less plugging, and a longer life (e.g., less wear) than typical multi-slotted mixing chambers. The provided mixing chamber may include an inlet and an outlet in fluid communication with a single wide slot microchannel (e.g., via an inlet and outlet plenum). In some aspects, the wide slot microchannel may have a stepped interior such that the wide slot microchannel has portions with different depths. The wide slot microchannel has a first surface opposite a second surface and one or more steps may be formed with the first surface alone, the second surface alone, or with both the first surface and the second surface. The steps may extend a full length of the microchannel between the inlet and outlet chambers.

  • Publication number: 20250238257
Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods and systems for distributed and/or parallel processing of data records, and in particular validation of blockchain transactions in a blockchain block. In a preferred embodiment, a distributed validation node is disclosed in which one or more transactions are allocated to a validating resource in a plurality of validating resources. The one or more transactions relates to a portion of a Merkle tree for the block, so that each validation resource is able to operate independently on verification of a subset of the block's transactions, each subset being based on a segment of the Merkle tree. The disclosure includes advantageous techniques for at least: allocation of tree segments to different validation resources, load balancing, download of the transactions to be validated, distributed UTXO pools, indexing schemes and prevention of double spend events.

  • Publication number: 20250238437
Abstract: A computer system enables instances of properties (e.g., of resources such as files in a file system) to be selectively synchronized with each other. Each instance of a property may have a plurality of versions. A primary version of the property is shared (and synchronized) among all property instances. Each property instance may also have its own secondary version of the property. Each property instance has its own effective version handle, which points to either the property's primary version or the property instance's secondary version of the property. A comparison is performed between a version state of the property's primary version and a version state of the secondary version of a first instance of the property to produce comparison result output. An instance state is exposed to indicate: (1) the version pointed to by the first instance's effective version handle; and (2) the comparison result output.

  • Publication number: 20250236956
Abstract: In some embodiments, a coating applied to steel reinforcement bar (e.g., steel rebar) that could considerably extend the lifetime of concrete structures by reducing steel rebar corrosion is disclosed. The coating includes a thin, passivating steel (e.g., stainless steel) layer that is applied to the outside of conventional steel rebar. The coating can be applied in-line through metal cold spray manufacturing, which is a high throughput coating technique that can be integrated into existing steel manufacturing plants. Furthermore, a novel, high performance ferritic steel with tailored resistance to corrosion from chlorides is described. The new ferritic steel is distinct from other commercial and experimental steels, and is better suited for coating low-cost steel structures like rebar. Multiple alloying elements including Cr, Al, and Si will each form protective oxides independently, increasing the total amount of protection and extending it over much wider ranges of pH and electrical potential.
