Abstract: An embodiment includes converting an original audio signal to an original text string, the original audio signal being from a recording of the original text string spoken by a specific person in a source language. The embodiment generates a translated text string by translating the original text string from the source language to a target language, including translation of a word from the source language to a target language. The embodiment assembles a standard phoneme sequence from a set of standard phonemes, where the standard phoneme sequence includes a standard pronunciation of the translated word. The embodiment also associates a custom phoneme with a standard phoneme of the standard phoneme sequence, where the custom phoneme includes the specific person's pronunciation of a sound in the translated word. The embodiment synthesizes the translated text string to a translated audio signal including the translated word pronounced using the custom phoneme.

Abstract: An embodiment includes generating first and second preliminary schedules for respective first and second workers assigned respective first and second tasks, detects a block of time that is part of both the first and second preliminary schedules, and generates respective first and second location predictions for the first and second workers during the block of time. The embodiment calculates a distance between the first and second workers based on the first and second location predictions, and revises, responsive to determining that the distance is less than a threshold value, the second preliminary schedule to replace the first block of time with a second block of time that is not part of the first preliminary schedule. The embodiment generates an access control list that includes the first preliminary schedule as a first access schedule for the first worker for use in responding to access queries.

Abstract: A method, computer system, and computer program product for expanding phenological data resources by collecting phenological data from social media sites are provided. The embodiment may include determining one or more species of plants or animals from a plurality of data shared on social media sites. The embodiment may also include extracting phenological information related to the determined plants or animals. The embodiment may further include validating the phenological information against known or already validated information received from crowd source phenological information or a plurality of ecological and biological databases. The embodiment may further include cataloging the validated and filtered phenological information according to a list selected from a group consisting of species, locations, biological or ecological characteristics.

A computer receives a multimedia source configuration and builds a wind scale reference database. In addition, the computer extracts and processes both wind speed data and contextual data from the multimedia. Moreover, the computer analyses temporal and spatial features, as well as generates a wind map based on the extracted context, extracted wind speed, and analysed temporal and spatial features. Lastly, the wind map generator validates and modifies the wind scale reference database.

Abstract: Systems and methods of the present disclosure provide techniques to locate target devices. An electronic message is sent to a set of landmark devices, signaling each landmark device to transmit echo-request packets to a target device and to other landmark devices and measure network-communication delays. Indications of the network-communication delays are received from the set landmark devices. A first sequence is formed by sorting the set of landmark devices relative to the network-communication delays between the target device and each landmark device. For each respective landmark device, an additional sequence is formed by sorting other landmark devices relative to the network-communication delays between the respective landmark device and the other landmark devices. A sequence-matching operation is applied to the first sequence and the additional sequences to form a ranking of the set of landmark devices relative to the target device.
