  • Publication number: 20210337930
Abstract: A shoe cover is a natural latex article with reduced amount of sulfur cross linking agent and accelerators including zinc dithiocarbamate that break catalytically soluble sulfur S8 sulfur rings forming sulfur linear chains. Surfactants present in the pre-vulcanization composition wets natural polyisoprene particles and permeates small sized sulfur into the interior of these particles thereby pre-vulcanizing the particles. The latex emulsion also has post-vulcanization composition with accelerators that crosslink between particles during the post vulcanization cure cycle. The dipped natural polyisoprene article is substantially uniformly cured both in the inter-particle and intra-particle regions and reliably exhibits high cross link density, uniform distribution of double bonds and zinc segregation at the boundaries or original particles. The natural rubber films exhibit high tensile strength, tensile modulus, tear strength, elongation with low modulus of the shoe cover.

Abstract: A ventilator system including an oxygen delivery cylinder, an air delivery unit, connecting tubes, and a digital display unit. The system further includes a Y connector configured to mix air and oxygen, to form a gas and pass said gas towards an outlet of the system. A water manometer that is configured to monitor a pressure of the gas in the system and blow off the excess pressure of the gas. A solenoid valve that is configured to adjust an end respiratory pressure obtained from a breathing device connected to the outlet of the system. The pressure of the gas being instantly delivered to the breathing device is measured by water manometer from a dead space near the outlet, thereby enabling a dual monitoring of the gas pressure being delivered to the breathing device.

  • Patent number: 11099824
Abstract: Provided are methods and systems for transition between a current cloud-based code environment and an updated cloud-based code environment. A method for transition between a current cloud-based code environment and an updated cloud-based code may commence with generating a steering policy. The steering policy may include a set of rules to guide steering decisions between a current cloud-based code environment and an updated cloud-based code environment. The method may further include sending the steering policy to a steering server. The steering server may make steering decisions to steer, based on the steering policy, service requests between the current cloud-based code environment and the updated cloud-based code environment. The method may continue with receiving feedback concerning actual steering decisions made by the steering server. The method may further include automatically adjusting the steering policy in response to the feedback.

  • Publication number: 20210256367
Abstract: The disclosed embodiments provide a system for processing searches. During operation, the system determines features related to attributes of candidates and interactions of the candidates with an online system. Next, the system applies a static ranking machine learning model to the features to produce scores representing likelihoods of outcomes related to the candidates and stores rankings of the candidates by descending values of the scores in entries of an inverted index. During processing of a search of the candidates in the online system, the system retrieves a subset of the candidates with the values of the scores that exceed a threshold from a subset of the entries in the inverted index that match parameters of the search. Finally, the system aggregates the retrieved subset of candidates for use in subsequent ordering of the subset of candidates by one or more dynamic ranking models.

  • Patent number: 11089088
Abstract: A mechanism is provided for deploying software applications in a cloud computing environment. An administrator is provided an interface for allowing a software application that is designed for a single tenant to be used by a plurality of users. An aspect of the invention is to provide a mechanism for quickly and easily giving multi-user qualities to a single tenant application like autoCAD. As such, multiple users can access the application without the need to download and install a version locally on their system. The system is able to determine the period of time for which an application is in use for a given user, because every application is run on a resource that is part of the cloud environment. Therefore, it is possible for the application provider to charge for the application in a usage-based model—e.g., by the hour, or day—without any re-engineering of the existing application.

  • Patent number: 11061741
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for reducing the latency associated with performing data reductions in a multithreaded processor. In response to a single instruction associated with a set of threads executing in the multithreaded processor, a warp reduction unit acquires register values stored in source registers, where each register value is associated with a different thread included in the set of threads. The warp reduction unit performs operation(s) on the register values to compute an aggregate value. The warp reduction unit stores the aggregate value in a destination register that is accessible to at least one of the threads in the set of threads. Because the data reduction is performed via a single instruction using hardware specialized for data reductions, the number of cycles required to perform the data reduction is decreased relative to prior-art techniques that are performed via multiple instructions using hardware that is not specialized for data reductions.

Abstract: Systems and methods to manage a fleet of home electronic systems are described. The system receives event information at a home fleet management application for managing a first set of home electronic systems including a second set of home electronic systems. The event information includes sensor information. The system aggregates the sensor information according to geographic areas to generate aggregated sensor information. The geographic areas include a first geographic area. The system receives first selection information that selects a first action identifier and the first geographic area. The first action identifier identifies a first action and the first geographic area identifies the second set of home electronic systems. The system communicates first action information to the second set of home electronic systems responsive to receiving the first selection information. The first action information causes a thermostat to establish a temperature range in the second plurality of home electronic systems.
