  • Patent number: 11017390
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a secure method of providing a delivery address during a tokenized payment transaction scheme. A consumer places an order with a merchant without providing a delivery address. A distributor that collects payments due to the merchant requests a payment identification code and a delivery address from a payment agent. The request includes payment information. The payment agent generates and stores a payment identification code along with the payment information, and sends the code to the consumer via the distributor. The consumer forwards the code to a financial institution for forwarding to the payment agent who returns the payment information along with a request for a delivery address. The consumer may respond by authorizing the payment and by providing a delivery address. The financial institution then arranges the payment to the merchant and sees that the merchant receives the delivery address.

  • Patent number: 11017858
Abstract: A CAM/TCAM includes a plurality of rows of CAM/TCAM lines, a plurality of search lines, and a plurality of bit lines, wherein each row comprises an array of CAM/TCAM cells. Each TCAM cell has two storage cells, representing state for data and a mask of the cell, and match logic. The two storage cells connect to a respective bit line as input and their output drives the match logic. In response to the respective search line and storage outputs, the match logic generates cell match outputs. The match logic can be implemented using static logic comprising tristate gates and masking logic that forces the cell match output to a predetermined value in response to the stored mask value. The match outputs in the row are AND-ed by a logic tree to generate a match output, thereby reducing power consumption.

  • Publication number: 20210144170
Abstract: A method for preventing a side channel attack by executing an enclave on a remote computing device. The method comprises configuring the enclave based on configuration parameters defined by a computing device. A page created in first enclave cache memory in the remote computing device and adding virtual page address information and page security attributes corresponding to the page in a second enclave cache memory, and an encrypted log entry is created in a protected memory of the remote computing device. The enclave is initiated by comparing the log entry and a second hash key generated by the remote computing device. A new page of pre-defined size is dynamically added to the first enclave cache memory after initiation of the enclave. The enclave is executed based on a successful validation of a size of the page created in first enclave cache memory to be equal to the pre-defined page size.

Abstract: Light-weight, flexible solar panels adapted to prevent inadvertent stress on silicon solar photovoltaic cells inside solar panels. In some examples, a solar panel comprising solar cells includes a plurality of supports, such as one support for each solar cell, with gaps between the supports to allow the panel to flex when strained while protecting the individual cells. In other examples, a solar panel comprises a plurality of solar cells and a support or plural supports designed to accept force applied to the top of the panel and divert such force around the individual cells, without the use of a heavy glass support over top. Some examples may include both individual supports for each cell, with each individual support further adapted to direct applied forces around the individual cells.

  • Patent number: 10977037
Abstract: In one embodiment, a synchronization instruction causes a processor to ensure that specified threads included within a warp concurrently execute a single subsequent instruction. The specified threads include at least a first thread and a second thread. In operation, the first thread arrives at the synchronization instruction. The processor determines that the second thread has not yet arrived at the synchronization instruction and configures the first thread to stop executing instructions. After issuing at least one instruction for the second thread, the processor determines that all the specified threads have arrived at the synchronization instruction. The processor then causes all the specified threads to execute the subsequent instruction. Advantageously, unlike conventional approaches to synchronizing threads, the synchronization instruction enables the processor to reliably and properly execute code that includes complex control flows and/or instructions that presuppose that threads are converged.
