Abstract: Provided are a method and apparatus for displaying content. The method includes receiving changed scene information if scene information containing position information indicating the time at which objects constituting the content are displayed and positions of the objects to be displayed is changed, receiving objects for constituting the content based on the changed scene information and determining whether objects overlapping each other exist among the received objects, and displaying the content after selectively changing positions of the objects according to the determination result.

Abstract: A method and apparatus of classifying repetitive defects on a substrate is provided. Defects of dies on the substrate are sequentially compared with a predetermined reference die. Sets of coordinates are marked on the reference die which are corresponding to the position of the defects on the dies on the substrate. Then, repetitive defects are classified which are repeatedly marked in a specified region on the reference die.

Abstract: A method of fabricating a recess channel array transistor. Using a mask layer pattern having a high etch selectivity with respect to a silicon substrate, the silicon substrate and an isolation insulating layer are etched to form a recess channel trench. After forming a gate insulating layer and a recess gate stack on the recess channel trench, a source and a drain are formed in the silicon substrate adjacent to both sidewalls of the recess gate stack, thereby completing the recess channel array transistor. Because the mask layer pattern having the high etch selectivity with respect to the silicon substrate is used, a depth of the recess channel trench is easily controlled while good etching uniformity of the silicon substrate is obtained.

Abstract: A method of and apparatus for updating decoding information are provided. A method of transmitting media data includes generating a media stream including one or more media data items, one or more decoding information of the media stream, and information for arranging updating of the decoding information; and transmitting the media stream, the one or more decoding information item of the media stream, and the information for arranging updating of the decoding information, in which the one or more media data items have decoding information that are different from each other. According to the method and apparatus, the amount of data to be processed and the complexity of data processing can be reduced, thereby reducing an encoding time and a media data processing time in a decoder.

Abstract: An apparatus for and method of transmitting media data, and an apparatus for and method of receiving media data are provided. The method of transmitting media data includes determining whether to multiplex a media data item; determining a stream identifier for identifying a packetization layer packet of a media data item; packetizing the media data item to generate a packetization layer packet; and transmitting the packetization layer packet, wherein the packetization layer packet has a recursive structure in which an aggregated unit having a same packet structure as the packetization layer packet is included in a payload field of the packetization layer packet. The method for receiving media data includes processing received transport layer data; inverse packetizing a packetization layer packet and identifying a payload data type of the packet; and if the payload data type indicates an aggregated unit, inverse packetizing the aggregated unit.

Abstract: A magnetic flux coupling-type superconducting current limiter is capable of protecting lines more effectively by winding reactors of a primary coil and a secondary coil in series in the structure where the primary coil and the secondary coils are wound in parallel in the conventional magnetic flux-lock type current limiter to increase a linked flux generated from an iron core. An electric conducting current which rapidly increases when a fault occurs is divided into the secondary coil and a superconducting coil to decrease a load on the superconducting element and it is opened more rapidly than the existing superconducting current limiter during a quench time such that it better limits a fault current.

Abstract: Provided are an apparatus and method for providing an Internet Protocol Datacasting (IPDC) service in a Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB) system. A digital broadcasting transmission apparatus for providing an IPDC service includes an IPDC processing unit which generates IP packet data by packetizing data to be transmitted and generates information on a configuration of the IP packet data; a service linkage information (SLI) processing unit which generates SLI which is linkage information between the IP packet data and an IP bearer which delivers the IP packet data; and a transmitter which multiplexes and transmits the SLI and the IP packet data. Accordingly, by generating and using SLI for linking a DAB system and an IPDC system, the DAB system can effectively provide an IPDC service.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for generating a transport frame, and an apparatus and method for processing a transport frame are provided. The method of generating a transport frame includes: selecting an operation mode of a sub-transport frame, which is a transmission unit of an input packetized frame; generating a sub-transport frame based on the operation mode; and generating a transport frame using the sub-transport frame, wherein the operation mode is distinguished according to whether the sub-transport frame includes stuffing data. Accordingly, a packetized frame can be efficiently transmitted by reducing stuffing overhead bits due to stuffing data and header data.

Abstract: The present invention controls the keypad backlight of the mobile phone so as to avoid the waste of battery power, resulting in increases of the operation use time and user convenience. The method for controlling keypad backlight of a mobile terminal according to the present invention includes determining whether or to turn on the keypad backlight by comparing a present time with a sunrise time and a sunset time of a present country and season when an event requiring to turn on or off the keypad backlight occurs, and controlling the keypad backlight to be turned on or off based on the determination.

Abstract: A mobile terminal with a function for setting an output volume of an audio signal to prevent acoustic shock is disclosed. In the mobile terminal, a receiver is integrated into a speaker. The speaker limits the initial output volume of an audio signal to a predetermined level. The mobile terminal provides a menu for setting an output volume of an audio signal. The menu enables a user to select either to maintain the currently limited volume level or to change to a volume level set for a speaker mode. Since an audio signal received with the connection of an incoming call is output at a predetermined reference volume level, acoustic shock caused by unexpectedly high-level of sound volume can be prevented.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a phosphate-based dielectric ceramic composition which has a low dielectric constant and a low dielectric loss in the high-frequency bands such as microwave and millimeter wave. The composition is represented by the following formula: (1-x)(A?1-yA?y)O-xP2O5 wherein x and y are numbers satisfying the following conditions: 0 <×<1 and 0?y?1, and A? and A? are each independently selected from the group consisting of Ca, Ba, Sr, Zn, Mb, Ni, Mn and Cu. The composition may further include a sintering assistant and an additive. Since the composition can be sintered at a temperature as low as 1,000° C., it can be simultaneously calcined together with a metal electrode such as silver, copper or silver/palladium electrode.

Abstract: This invention relates to water soluble iron oxide nanoparticles and a method of its preparation. More specifically, this invention relates to a method of manufacturing water soluble iron oxide nanoparticles uniform in size by coating polyvinylpyrolidone, a biocompatible polymer that can be intravenously administered via thermal decomposition, on the surface of iron oxide thereby enabling to control the size of resulting particles, and water soluble iron oxide nanoparticles coated with polyvinylpyrolidone. The above-mentioned water soluble iron oxide nanoparticles have excellent image contrasting effect and are thus useful as MRI contrast agent.

Abstract: A method for operating a voice function of a dual-mode mobile communication apparatus including a speaker's voice recognition function and a voice output function of stored information while the mobile communication apparatus is operating in an analog mode is disclosed. The method comprises the step of determining whether a voice function request signal is input or not, switching a vocoder into a digital mode for operating the voice function, and operating the voice function in digital mode.

The device further comprises isolation layers formed in the semiconductor substrate to define active regions, a first gate electrode structure formed in the cell region and a second gate electrode structure formed in the core and peripheral region. Source and drain regions formed in the active regions on respective sides of each of the gate electrode structures and self-aligned contact pads are formed in the cell region in contact with the source and drain regions. An insulating interlayer is formed on the semiconductor substrate between the self-aligned contact pads, and etch stoppers are formed on the insulating interlayer between the self-aligned contact pads in the cell region.

Abstract: An electronic power-measurement device with intelligent agent includes a power measurement unit, an intelligent agent and a communication unit. The device can commonly assess data necessary for works, as an intelligent agent is mounted on the electronic power-measurement device, although the manufacturers of the devices and hardware structure based on types of the devices are different from each other. Also, the device can select only data suitable to a high level service and can selectively assess thereto, in order to minimize extraction of unnecessary data when assessing data necessary for works, as the entire data structure is previously designed in tree form, such that each step of the tree can be used as address assess to corresponding data.
